About armored vehicles and fighter planes

No one use fighters without bombs.
I see people suggesting other armored vehicles but they will end up same as fighter planes.
No player will ever use them after they unlock tanks.
You really think players will choose sdkfz 251 by their will when they can play with panzer 4 or tigers ?
Maybe %1 very niche players who want to have different experience.
So how to have armored vehicles experience without reducing tanks and infatry ?
Simple:
1)increase player count to 14
2) seperate land vehicles to two slot
Tanks and tank hunters ( 2 limited)
Other armoreds (2 limited)
3) seperate planes to two slots
Fighters (2 limited)
Attackers (2 limited)

4 enemy planes will force players to use fighters and spaas more often. And having more planes to shoot it will be good motivation for fighters and spaa users ( xp farming)
Having both tanks and light vehicles is good for lights. Lights can have breathing space while ally tanks are dealing with enemy tanks. So lights can provide more effective flank maneuvres and infantry support
Most of the light vehicles are vulnerable to aa, at gun, at weapons and any bomb. Without playing with tanks side by side they will end up as moving coffins.

I would.

I still use the Stuart (Rhino, eheh) in Normandy.

Because I can. I have fun with it (something ppl forget about the most in Enlisted)
I use the (sadly overpriced) premium Stug for axis.

Because it’s a Stug. Even if there’s big cats.

theorically, and ideally, if implemented correctly,

people will start to use more of them. because some folks just like me, ( and through out the forum asked for it ) do not like planes nor tanks. hence, we rather have a fourth squad that comes with an utility vehicle.

i never understood this point.

i know this might sound new for some people, but you don’t really need huge numbers of players ( that can be barely even pulled off in normal matches lmao because of bots and people that leave ) nor have huge maps.

as we currently use our tools in the current maps, i don’t really see any issue coming with those.

as i’m the most vocal one for the introduction of halftruck as long they get implemented correctly, more for support role rather than just being a brick. and does not have nor need to be equal to a tank.

you do realize that not everyone will use halftracks right?

Guys even if you would, its still a niche.
The proposal was made clear, there are only three options.
Rebalance tech trees, we would have then mostly armored cars, halftracks, light tanks and medium tank at best as last unlock (fun option).
Don’t add halftracks, nor armored cars to the game.
Spread the slots, we would have then tank slot and armored car/SPAA slot, also every plane in this game should have additional CAS armament + all plane guns should be able to strafe effectivly (not only Mk108).

Or have halftracks pre placed on maps.

The result there with fighters is that nobody will spawn them anyway because they aren’t rewarding without being able to pull CAS.
In their place attacker pilots will shoot at eachother.

That was the case in CBT when no fighters carried bombs.

Able to take down at lest 2 planes seems good motivation if not more. If there had been more planes to shut down i would have used them often.

Or just increase plane xp

Not really, everyone will want someone to shoot down those 2 planes but won’t want to be the one to take one for the team being stuck in the sky getting barely any points.

I used to do it but it got old, so I didn’t fly as often .

Fighters are so bad in this game. I don’t know what is going on is it hit reg or what but i have 80 kill on ground, go into a plane to shoot down IL2 and it takes my entire 13mm and 20mm on 109 g6 to kill a single plane. The hit-reg and hit markers are a complete lie.

Also u cannot adjust head position in cockpit like you can in WT (XYZ axis, NOT zoom/panning), so deflection shooting is basically impossible.
