So my idea was you could trade a weapon to a friend in return he would have to pay bronze orders, or I guess after merging (silver credits). But let’s say you don’t have that weapon unlocked yet for your account but he does, you just won’t be able to use it until you unlock that level in your account before you can use your friend’s donated weapon. And I would also say make so only in-game vanilla-free weapons are tradeable. Premium, or battle pass golf weapons are not tradeable. an only make it possible to trade with enlisted friends in the game. my idea sounds good ut to be honest I think this idea will be pointless after the merge happens…
Idk, seems weird to donate free unlock weapons to a friend that can’t even use them yet.
Would actually make more sense for gold order and event weapons (that are not attached to a squad). Because maybe you buy a gold order gun and end up not liking it, or have some event guns that you don’t like or use. (I have 2 30. Cal Thompsons from old event, but I only use 1 of them)
…which would basically created black market, lmao.
I doubt they’ll do something like that. Especially since they are planning to add Gaijin store (or idk how’s that exactly called). In which you can rrade event stuff and so for WT currently.
They did mention this few months back in Q&A for CC’s discord server.
Not sure if it is a good idea encourage players to create additional accounts just to farm additional event weapons for themselfs. If they ever introduce a busted event weapon you could expect some special people to run 3 full squads with it because he paid or created additional accounts to get those.
Having a trading mechanic might actually be a good thing it would help those who were stuck on Xbox or PlayStation who want to migrate to PC by trading all this stuff to the new account on PC.
Account hijack rate ++++
It’s very naive to think trading cross platform would be a thing.
Otherwise we could simply have shared accounts from get go.
It just doesn’t make any sense.
