So I know as of now you can downgrade vehicle upgrades, so why not make the same with weapons? so i can downgrade all my weapons down to zero stars and get a few bronze orders as a small refund less though than what I pay to upgrade it with in order to prevent system abuse.
Why would you want to do this? I donât understand?
I have no idea. I donât know why youâd want to do this. Thats why I asked, why you would want to? I dont understand.
Ah I get it, so itâs to get back weapon orders.
I guess I just dont understand why youâd want to strip your weapons anyway. Even if you donât use them anymore, you might come back to 'em one day. But, yeah if you can do it with vehicles, why not weapons?
The weapons can be sold, like soldiers send back for bronze orders.
Higher level = more bronze
If You could sell vehicles, how would You buy them back?
So instead vehicles can be downgraded, so You have no way of ending up without any tank for Your squads, and can still get some bronze out of stuff You donât use
It would be funny though to see tankers and pilots enter battle with no vehicles
Ah, I see now. Alright.
when you regret being too OP lol
Itâs for planes. One of the upgrades for planes changes how it flies, decreasing climb rate but increasing speed. Some people prefer the extra climb rate, but donât find this out until they fully upgrade the plane, so the downgrade option is for them.
You cant sell tanks. Used to be able to buy tank scraps, but thats as far as it went with purchasing tanks.
For multiple reasons:
- You cannot Sell a vehicle. Once it is unlocked, you have it. You cannot buy another of it, you cannot remove the one you have. Compared to Weapons, which not only can you sell, but you can get workshop perks to make them more valuable when you do sell them.
- Vehicles take significantly more orders to upgrade than weapons.
- Often times the vehicle being downgraded is because that same squad got access to a new vehicle. Downgrading the old one in order to upgrade the new one is an option.
Overall, weapons are meant to be switched out far more often than vehicles. Thats why there are more options increasing their value and such. It would be pointless to simply âdowngradeâ a weapon but still keep it, if you intend to use something else.
