In a lot of military games you are able to switch teams during a fight if the teams get too unbalanced. I wish to see this in Enlisted as well. It is a reaaaally long 20 minutes if you are defending of an Invasion and the enemy barely tries, I would just like to switch to the more difficult side to create a more even game.
The team changing would have a few conditions:
You can only change to the losing team
You cant change the teams more than once in a game
You cant change the team unless the tickets get too unbalanced
Aside from a select few like yourself, no one would want to join the losing team
Doing this means you either reset your whole points or you carry over your score which will be unfair or could be used as an exploit. (you get more exp for getting a really high score)
How can you tell whether the tickets gets unbalanced? because sometimes there are fights where both sides are pushing hard to attack or defend where it will become a match that can go both ways.
Just because there is a chance to change the team doesnt mean you have to, so it by having it as an option doesnt take anything away from anyone.
So what if it carries over your score when you change sides? I dont understand this comment.
Lets say its a normal Invasion starting with 1000 points, if the enemy has only 500 lifes and hasnt captured a single point they are clearly losing. I need to add that a “losing team” should be clearly losing, not for example a Domination where its 500 points vs 400 points.
No thank you There are only 3 Campaigns I find even somewhat enjoyable: Moscow, Tunisia and Pacific. Berlin is a mess I wont touch even with a long stick
Fun on EU servers sometimes. Though, depends on what time one decides to play.
But even on losing matches - I often end up having good fights. Though, it may be that I am becoming a masochist.
I would have to say absolutely not. The biggest issue that you will run into would be people switching teams expressly for the purpose of sabotage. It’s already a bad enough issue when players start breaking down fortifications and fencing off friendly spawns. Could you imagine if an enemy player jumped over to sabotage and make it easier for his friends on original team to just walk right in?
I dont think a lot of people would actively sabotage their own team. We can also add a fourth condition: Your entire squad will switch sides, or even better might be that you can not switch sides if you are in a premade squad
