If youre wondering whats better, J2M3, N1K2-Ja or Ki-84…
Well… A7M2 is actually the best.

Not only do you retain the turn rate of an A6M3, but now instead of 1130 horsepower engine, youre packing 2200 horsepower engine. Furthermore you have higher dive limit of 800km/h instead of 670km/h on A6M3 and you also get 2x 250kg bombs instead of being limited by A6M3’s wings to only 2x 60kg. Yes… not only has your climb rate substantially improved and your max speed has increased by over 100km/h compared to A6M3, you retain the turn rate of an A6M3 lol

I’d rather it get two Type 5 No.6 Mod.9 rockets instead of 250 kg bombs, so it’s an interesting choice, rather than just a slightly better Ki 84, but sure.

I’d rather give those to J2M3 since rockets on its short stubby wings are easier to aim.
A7M2 has huge wings with rockets far apart and far from center making them hard to aim

N1K2-J can have 2x Rockets
N1K2-Ja can have 2x 250kg (or 4x 60kg)
