So what i mean is that in BF1 operations mode on the end of the match the game would judge how good did your team attack or defend, for example:
the attacking team that attacked till the last point but ultimately lost, it’s considered a incredible offensive
While for the defending team it’s tricky but we could assume that if they either defend a point for a long period of time (whichever capture point) but ultimately loses it could be considered a valiant defense
So what i am saying is a participation prize for the losing team that does well but loses

Yes.
The main reason most ppl desert is: if they see they lose, they know they lose the 1.5x xp bonus.
To reward participants of the losing team (depending on effort) would probably help a bit.
There’s only so much carrying one can do. You can be the best of both team combined, by far, and still lose. Would be nice if those didn’t feel like they need to desert too soon.

Interesting idea, they could do some clever things as you suggest.
In a defence/attack scenario, there should be a timer bonus for the attackers for each objective, if the attacking team takes said objective within a given time, they get an XP bonus. Similarly for the defenders, they should have a minimum timeframe to defend an objective and if they hold the line for that period they will get an XP bonus. This may incentivise players to firstly stay in game and keep collecting bonuses per objective rather than J-out.
The overall team bonus for a win remains extant.
This will not prevent players from leaving poorly conceived/designed maps.

You already get the battle hero multipliers. That’s something.
Something sure.
But not enough to incite someone to endure an enemy team of sweat lords, especially when you know you’re going to lose.
The way it is now, and with my limited time, I desert when I see a match is pointless. And I don’t even feel bad for it.
