Right now playing on console your at a disadvanted with PC players. There is no way to look around cockpit when flying. The touch pad is deactivated… We need to be able to look around the cockpit to win dog fights and a way to center back onsights… probably L3

Xbox players can look around the cockpit by pressing the left joystick and it re centers when you stop pressing down on it. Is this not the case for playstation?

not usable. fly with the let stick. I remember trying it and wasn’t really practical.

At my controller it works - combination of L3 with R3.

how do you control the plane while doing that.? it doesnt work i tryed it.

You change the flight stick. I put this together ages ago.

Interesting. I have been using Logitech extreme 3d pro since 2004 and i would hate to lose rudder hotas over this. At tgis point i would rather buy something… like the thrustmaster hotas 4, but i dont like how they want you to keep your hand on the left throttle in order to use those buttons… we use yo have a ps4 head tracker. . Where ever that went. I would probably have to regrind the game on PC… someday if i ever hacwe a PC again. I see the internet alludes that 3rd party hardware and ps5… there might be a way… keyboard + mouse and logitech extrene 3d pro was an excellant HOTAS sytem. The top has a 12 way hatswitch that you can program for looking in different directions for quick looks that reset when you remove your thumb off it and mouse for longer looks

The touchpad works for view in battle in War Thunder. Why not enlisted? A mouse would be great too. Its funny I bought the Kingcobra and deff. would say it was worth the money considering it was half off and the added precision to the FM, but i have to fly like 109 since I cant look around. It’s fine when their aren’t any enemys. Having HOTAS rudder is a prerquisite in order to fly King Cobras due to tourqe of heavy rear mounted engine and four bladed prop in order to not spin out of control.
