Actually, I mostly play allies. and don’t think the Panther should be in the Normandy campaign.
What’s hypocritical is that when you fight the Jumbo head on, it’s dumb. You need to flank it, yadda-yadda. But when the Axis copy-paste says the same thing regarding the Panther, allies players loses their mind.
Both Jumbo and the Panther, historically, weren’t supposed to be in the ‘current’ Normandy campaign. But Tiger and King Tiger does…
Yeah, tanks wise, if you use ‘historically accurate’ time table, Allies only got regular Shermans, Cromwell, Churchill, M10 etc during Normandy campaign. But the Germans, who were already battle-hardened with brutal tank combat with the Soviets at the eastern-fronts… well.
"The first combat use of the Tiger II was by the 1st Company of the 503rd Heavy Panzer Battalion during the Battle of Normandy, opposing Operation Atlantic."
Believe me, you DON’T want ’ 100% historically accurate’ equipment. If you are that 10% who genuinely believes Allies is getting stomped despite all that P-47 spam etc, then bad news for you. Blame Darkflow, but at the same time, don’t blame Darkflow.
It’s obvious to everyone that there should be rework on the current campaign to balance both sides instead of giving more and more campaign reinforcements. But we have seen Darkflow, time and time again, hardly touched the balancing subject regarding these issues.
Allies have stomped Axis with their Jumbo and P-47 through the course of OBT April 2021 - September 2021. When Panther drops… well. The players who were greyzone-camping with the former are definitely amongst the most vocal Anti-Axis players. The most amusing part is, Panther back then was so rare due to the high level you encounter them super rarely. 1 out of 10, 20 matches. They haven’t even encountered one and were already screaming and typing down 10 paragraphs sob story about how a tank they never met wiped out their entire family, brought their nation to ruin and erased their history.
It’s cringe.
There is balancing issues with both sides, but trying to blame Axis players 100% for everything are not the way to go.
Did I ever say anything about historical accuracy?
And I was replying to a different thing, chill
That ain’t got nothing to do with historical accuracy that’s balancing we don’t need heavy tanks.
And no one said “flank it bro”
i m disapointed.
Woah! Just flank bro!
better?
Much much better.
“flank it, bro”, isn’t just a tactic. It’s a lifestyle.
Gangsta lifestyle, amirite
compared to moscow soviet t-50, panther at normandy is not a big problem, so whats the point with this topic?.
Dank memes, apparently
That is something no one wants. I can make a list of things that are historically accurate, but would drive both sides to insanity, and not even leave the confines of Normandy.
Eh, thats debatable, both are literally only there to encourage opposing side to buy a premium squad, that being the Pz IV E with HEAT for Moscow Axis and the Firefly for Normandy Allies.
I’m stealing this for reasons
And this is why I don’t take this forum so serious anymore.
Allied players have already been used to cheated tanks like Jumbo or T-50, that’s the only reason why ppl like wastedwoodsmen keep trolling about it.
Im pretty sure King tiger would be just as balanced as Jumbo in pre-Panther stage lol
