I suggest that you change the Soldier Behavior from Aggressive/Passive to Aggressive/Defensive. Then have the contextual commands such as “Hold this Point” change depending on the Behavior to either Hold or Attack. By “Attack this point” if it could set that targeted area as having priority for your squad to fire on. Also if it could let you interact with friendly tanks such as on Aggressive you can command your squad to “ride” a friendly tank or defensive they take cover on the side you sent the command from. I think these might be helpful for players who would like to utilize the unique aspects of this game. For commands regarding Enemy tanks if on aggressive it could just set them to rush the armor if they don’t have a anti-tank gun/launcher but so if the tank kills the player you can still close the distance it would make Rifle squads have a chance of overwhelming lone tanks. Also the devs and you guys would probably come up with better ideas I just think that this might offer a simple path to allowing a greater variety of commands without over saturating the player or system.

Marking targets already works as you described “attack this point”- bots first prioritize whatever you mark, and prioritize teammate markers second.
“Defend that tank” is a cool idea.

I would expand Pacific Campaign with Seppuku Command for entire squads…this way you could commit it and then leave the match.

This is a great idea and I would love to see it, being able to mark a place for squad to exist and a second mark for focus fighting this direction could help form those crucial front lines like the trenches. Or prep for hasty ambushes.
