I’ve never seen a rapid-fire demonstration of the Type 38 rifle—especially not in the country that fielded the second-largest number of them in the world.
Maybe smaller cartridge simply take a little less time to chamber and eject
ETA: Haven’t watched this video but apparently it’s quite good:
Well you should google “mad minute”, a special drill where a British squad would give supressing fire just with bolt actions.
Nothing really should beat a Lee Enfield in rate of fire.
A friend of mine used to own an old deactivated Lee Enfield - I tried it myself, if you fire with your middle finger, you can cycle super crazy fast with you thumb and index finger.
Arguably the Lee-Enfields should be unbeated in RoF, but I don’t know if I exactly miss the minor 3 score stat difference…
My greater question is: Why are the two Lee-Enfields so different when in reality they aren’t?
I notice the lethality of the Arisaka 38 is worse now, damage was barely useable then. All the Japanese Tier 1-2 rifles are nerfed at range, like they need anymore handicaps.
