I did a Quick Look around to see what the Japanese had to offer against the other squads I had in mind on this post

Some squad recommendations for a new event

Was doing some further research on squads the size of rifle squads. But with assaulter weapons. For instance… The Russian stormtroopers [IMG_3073] The German Sturmzug squad (add a 9th stg soldier and give the option to replace stg with mp43 or mkb) [IMG_3077] And then the devils brigade, simply making it a 9 man squad with m1928 Thompson’s with 2 of them being Johnson mg troops.

I read up on the Teishin Shudan paratroopers or they can have another guards unit instead. Both would have 9 men equipped with type 100 early’s and then have the option to swap out the earlies for the late type 100’s. One of the 9 soldiers would also be an engineer.
