This shouldn’t have happened.
PTRD is bolt action while PTRS is semi automatic which means that PTRD should be more accurate and powerful. This nerf only killed the only reason to use the PTRD over the PTRS. Now you just make the PTRS better in every way.

As an avid AT gunner, I very much agree! Was anyone asking for this?
Perhaps, Pessimistically, they make this change to encourage lower level players to continue the grind until they get PTRS ? 
Not to mention that Darkflow nerfed the PTRS’s pen to be worse than the PTRD in the first place.
Nerfing the PTRD with the reasoning that it should match the PTRS is in total ignorance of their last change.
If they want to revert their last change they should revert it, not nerf one to balance out how they nerfed the other.
If the devs can’t remember what they changed a couple of months ago, they can’t balance the game competently.
Also the penetration stats of PTRD were taken from soviet documents on shooting tests. The penetration of PTRD was 45mm even in real life
So they are basically taking realism away from the gun to make it worse

wy dont nerf the bolt-action because they do too much damage compared to automatic weapons
