A perfect event squad for Burma 🇬🇧

With Burma coming to the game I would really like to see the 153rd Gurkha Parachute Infantry Battalion in-game.

They played a vital role in the closing years of the Burmese campaign in the Battle of Elephant Point.

It was an airborne operation conducted at the month of the Rangoon river which took place on 1st May, 1945.

They would be armed with the iconic Sterling SMG chambered in the 9×19 mm Parabellum with a RoF of 550 RPM. It could hold 32 or 50-round magazines from the Sten or Lanchester.

Since they are Gurkhas they will have the deadly Khukri as their unique melee weapon.

I really hope we get to see them in the near future.

my beloved e-11

i mean. sterling smg :smirk:

jokes aside, sure why not.

it will probably take ages, and it’s kinda too late to late to be introduced given the time period before this burma update releases.
but i don’t see why not.

I think the Sterling, or Patchet as it was during the war, would either be better for a British commando squad since that’s how it was used

It’s a Normark occluded eye gunsight on there, just a red dot in a black void. Nothing similar existed before the 60s as far as I know.
