I would really like to see the X Force which was the name given to a part of the Chinese Expeditionary Force which retreated from Burma to British India in 1942.
They were cantoned at the Ramgarh Cantonment in the Bihar province and were re-equipped and re-trained by American instructors at British expense.
They would be a classic event assaulter squad boasting 3 assaulters and 1 engineer and AT gunner.
They would be armed with the Sichuan Type SMG firing the 7.62×25mm Mauser cartridge and having a 30-round magazine.

What is up with people requesting squads that only fit into a single map but are out of place for every othere one?
Ever since the merge the marrocan rifleman have been relentlessly mocked for not belonging to the pacific or somewhat the european theater but with chinese volunters it is even worse as they litterly only belong to single map.
Kind silly to have obviously asian faces in a campain they should not be.

Could be. But I was taking inspiration from the Silent Hunter event squads. That’s the benchmark for me personally.
That could also work as well. But we are having a lot of ‘captured’ or ‘lend-lease’ weapons as of late. So I thought of having something a bit more unique.
Paid players are already playing with that Chinese event squad across different maps. It would be a really nice gesture to give F2P players the ability to play with a similar squad for free. This seems to be the case for a lot of the past events as well. On the flipside paid players will have the ability to run 2 Chinese event squads.
You know people who are like “Moroccan shouldn’t be in Normandy” are for some reason fine with Pershing and super Pershing in Normandy. I think that kinda hypocritical ngl I mean what even is the logic here.
As for me idc tbh it is what it is, nit picking thing would mean we have hundreds of things to nitpick about.

This is the route which the devs wished to take. Nothing can de be done about it now.

This issue with this isnt the fact the squad exists, its the BR system as a whole. Going back to campaigns (picking maps) would greatly improve the immersion experience, especially if you restrict particular squads to particular maps, as it should be. You can still do this and maintain the current tech tree, which was the gripe of the old campaign system because german mains had to grind the MP40 5 times. The TT means you only grind once, but opens the unlocked weapon for all appropriate maps.

No we arent. We hate that those tanks are even in the tech tree at all. Gaijin completely abanonded historic immersion with the BR system.
