First of all I know Germans’ have the FG42, but it’s not a good fully automatic rifle. FG42 lacks a lot in comparison to the bull**** M2 Carbine in every aspect BUT the sights. (I have tried M2 and the sights are garbage imo). This could be fixed with the FG42 getting it’s RPM down a little. The new High Caliber update removed the bug that let’s you equip your engineers with assault rifles and machine guns which was AMAZING. (Honestly i think it should be something you could do with all the Engineers.)
TLDR;
FG42 needs it’s RPM or recoil tweaked to fully support automatic mode.
Engineers should be able to handle mgs/ars/submgs.
Or we could get a complete new weapon that supports fully automatic firing mode.

at most they should get low tier smgs

Fg is fine.
At range? Use semi mode.
Storm a building? Spray in cqb with full auto mode.
Remember that this weapon does more damage per bullet than the m1m2. Much better at range, so more versatile. M1m2 is a glorified smg.

how is the FG possibly worse than the M2?
sure it kicks more, but full auto is far from being uncontrollable, at least to me, however even if the M2 had better sights, it would still out dps it easily,
14.4 dmg and 830 rpm is insane.

I can see where u’re coming from, but don’t forget that in medium range the full auto is just terrible man especially the recoil AFTER THE FIRST SHOT is just insane, whereas the Kurz(gold) has practically ZERO recoil or the Stgs. I just suggest that FG’s recoil gets tweaked or the RPM.
Of course if you hit every shot it out matches the M2 but that’s the problem, you literally can not hit every shot in fully auto mode. I’ll congratulate those who hits the third shot on fully auto it’s that bad.
Kurz and stg use intermedie cartridge bullet a bit more big than a pistol one, fg42 use full rifle cartridge bullet big as half of your phone
Fg recoil got nerfed a bit some time ago it’s true.
But it’s still fine: at range, always use semi. Remember in semi mode, you can fire as fast as you can click, making the fg a remarkable arm.
Also since bullets are very, veeery limited for this weapon, only use full auto as last cqb resort.
M1m2 got a ton of bullets, true. But it shoots all over the place in full auto (at range) and it’s bullet damage drop over distance is still significant. Ppl use those as assaulters weaponry, it’s a hard hitting smg in truth.

I would like to call that false since they all carry the 7.92mm bullet (could be wrong the game doesn’t say the complete name of the bullet)
In fact there is no name of the billet stg and kurz use 7.9mm kurz

Great points however i would just like to wield something different for the Engineers and other infantry types since they just don’t have many options (g43 or fg42). Like why not they can’t handle mp40’s? Or better yet why not my MAX engineers handle STG44s?
Because is an assault rifle and those are only for assaulter

It’s already automatics heavy everywhere. If you so desire, you can cycle between 3 assaulters squads, using automatics the whole match.
The role of your engineer buddy, is to build rally points, give Christmas ammo boxes gifts, dig holes, build sandbags, tank traps…
This chad could only have his glorious hammer and a mere pistol and STILL be the mvp of all matches he’s in.
He doesn’t really need assault weaponry
