all it takes is a single magnet for a disaster to happen
The medals are all worth the same
Bet most of them have never been in the line of fire, let alone ever fire a gun.

North Korea high military command is mostly war veterans, considering the scale of the genocide committed by the US there is they survived they sure deserve some of those at least, but thatās 70 years since the war and they are slowly dying and being replaced by new blood, sure inexperienced but trained on a new military doctrine what is worth something too.
In the end, western generals arenāt big shit either, their experience is kicking small militaries or fighting insurgencies, they have no experience fighting a conventional force and thatās why not only Russia but the west is using Ukraine as field to test tactics, strategies and doctrines.
This happen after 70 year withaut a real war, is that bad? Imo no! Withaut an army wo can do thing no important nation can think of start a war, russia and America proved that in ukraine and afghanistan
Imo the ww3 be fought with drones and robot because human soldier cant do the job anymore
The Third World War will be the last)
Again, thatās why Ukraine is important and the reason Russia is delaying a killing blow is to test itās military doctrine first, we saw on the first weeks how Ukraine exploited the fact that Russia and itās allies overextended and refused to send more than 150k soldiers approximately to the frontline, that changed quickly once they established a frontline and are now using superior firepower to take out ukrainian formations while holding easily defendable chokepoints as we saw on this week offensive.
Any day Russia may want to get on the offensive again it will have to field more soldiers or this weakness will be exploited again, or they may continue with the actual positional battles and using force concentration to push important cities but that will take a long time.
Western military command working together with the ukrainian is probably studying it closely too and they may get the same conclusions, infantry is still a important piece of fighting a conventional force.
āAnd korea and Vietnamā¦ā etc.
Well you can ask an old man from vietnam or korea to fight the ww3? But i doubt the guy accept
I actually do believe that, the first fase they probably were worried about a possible western intervention and tried a quick blow that surely didnāt worked as they first thought and they even changed the general responsible for the operation as it got into the second fase as they are calling it.
It isnāt any news that Russia has the military power to subjugate Ukraine if they mobilize their forces to do so, they arenāt for a reason and I argue that this reason is that they are using it as a training and testing ground for itās equipment and manpower as they also are rotating their units on the frontlines.
They are on a relatively comfortable position as they can defend any major enemy incursion and are not worried about external direct intervention anymore.
But I mean, if you really think that there is another reason for they not mobilizing their forces I sure can hear it (as long as we maintain a civil conversation with each other I am sure this wonāt go sideways).
I donāt know the reason why they āwouldnāt mobilize all they forcesā, but I find it really, REALLY hard to believe that ANY nation would willingly choose a long and costly war of attrition over a quick blitzkrieg, if they had the concrete possibility of overwhelming the enemy by sheer brute force.
In other words, I donāt believe the āRussia is holding backā narrative.
Thatās fair, honestly, we may never really know the truth, they sure could finish this quickly if they want to, they are choosing not to do so, then i think that the reason may be the fact that they are getting field expericne on their troops and testing their tech like the anti drone one that just 2 days ago downed one of the american switchblades system.
They may not indeed be holding back, they are using as i said on the first post, advantageous position and firepower to have a ācontrolledā space to test their equipment. Sure if they start again a quick push like the first weeks one they may get some ground but will again suffer losses that may turn the entire operation impracticable and thatās the reason the wests main āhelpā is on counter fire system and artillery systems, to ābalanceā the firepower and maybe force a āhumilliatingā retreat or a careless attack.
I see a butthurt commie on this thread
gotta love this community that always manage to get everychance ( or creates one ) to derail the topic with non related stuff.
or going political about it over nothing and everything at the same time
beside, thatās a good meme.
A very small part of the Russian troops is operating in Ukraine. And in Ukraine, several waves of full mobilization of the civilian population have already passed. At the moment, the Ukrainian military formations outnumber the Russian military group several times, but this does not help Ukraine in any way. Ukrainian troops are suffering huge losses and grinding every day. Russia can multiply the number of its regular troops in Ukraine at any time. And if Russia conducts a full mobilization of its population (as Ukraine did), then Russiaās forces will increase tenfold. Russia already controls the gigantic former territory of Ukraine, where millions of Russian-speaking people live.
Spare your keyboard, Iām not even reading that. I may as well discuss the very same arguments with @Comunistinha, whose posts at least DONāT automatically feel like earrape soviet anthem is playing out of nowhere while reading them.
