A feature where you could use pistols in a downed state?

I mean, sure they could implement it, but i’d be too OP I think and if you have a good trigger finger (Me) it’s basically an SMG in the downed state, maybe if you couldn’t reload but still it’s a finisher for the guy that downed you and that forces said enemy to focus on finishing you off and that leaves him vulnerable to your AI and your teammates and I think it’s a nice idea but way too OP

Unless the maximum trigger speed while downed and trying to keep your guts inside, is as fast as the Nagant revolver BEFORE fix.

AND with a big wobble similar to when you get shell shocked.

It was in a meme state. Seriously it was modeled as a single action even thought by that time (Moscow battle period) it was dual action.

It was reeeeaally slow.

And I used it anyway! :smile:

Edit: it’s funny you say you are new, because your pfp tells me you understand what some ppl playing since 3 years still fail to grasp! Engineers = mvp.

Imo it could be a nice but quite pricey perk.

I would say if this gets added i’d give it a month before people start complaining about it and ask for feature to get completely removed

If you mean Borderlands style, kill gets you up nooo if you mean self-defense kill adds to time before death maybe
mechanic ever kill gets you like 5-15 seconds before you bleed out so you are not killed while reviving
but you loose the ability to drop a grenade fair trade i think

This was already discussed and devs didn’t like the idea. I think it was even mentioned in one of the Q&As.

Yeah, I wouldn’t mind it as well. Especially since pistols are really overpriced for what they’re doing rn.

This feature might finally give some reason to buy them.

I mean, pistols are really useful in intensive close quarters situations, I switch to them all the time when I run out of main gun ammo, saved my ass a lot of times.

I prefer to just swap soldiers if possible. Basically the only time I am using pistol is when I completely run out of ammo in primary weapon.

yeah same unless pistol quest pop up i only use it when necessary (unless im jap tho i just charge the enemy lol)
