If players bots are going to for the most part be somewhat ignorant, can they at the very least be programmed to not just stand out in the open and actually seek cover without having to directly tell them? Finding cover would be one of the most basic battlefield things.

The best workaround atm, is to use the squad/individual hold position order actively when crossing ground.
Yeah, just put them in a corner of the room facing the wall wearing a Dunce hat. At least they are out of the way.

people don’t want terminators, but something DECENT who work with them, sadly the decalls for them it’s also shit, sorry but is truth, we need more options for them like dig trench, plant mines, disarm bomb, use machine gun nest/cannon/aa AND DON’T fucking destroy it, order take a cover behind wall,sandbag,supressing fire,etc.

Actually I’ve noticed just yesterday that instead of standing directly where I told one of my bots to, he instead went and crouched down next to a truck. Pretty smart of him if I do say so myself
