Apparently we (enlisted men) should have our own “Kursk” festival as well.
I don’t know if we canget a temporary one later or tomorrow.

Im pretty sure by now that there won’t be a Kursk event, not that I mind not getting 2 weapon order and a tank upgrade order upgarde beneath the image of a badly drawn t-34 ramming a box that doesn’t even resemble a Tiger I
probably 20% due to legal reasons and 80% due to delicate feelings of certain people

I’m sorry that Soviets didn’t wipe out peasants in industrial scales. Btw we are not in computer game lol, frags mean nothing in full scale war, especially when your country disappears.

Newest sources dispute the high tank losses of the Wehrmacht, since most weren’t lost but repaired and returned to the front line in mere weeks.
The real reason behind Germany’s defeat is the shortage of fuel which hampered the exploit of break throughs.
If not for USA lend leasing half of the fuel and food needs of USSR. Red Army wouldn’t ever had been capable of launching a major offensive, battles are won by tactics but wars are won with logistics.

While Red Army had special articles in military judgement for maraudering, Germans had “special jurisdiction”, saying “German soldiers who commit crimes against humanity, the USSR and prisoners of war are to be exempted from criminal responsibility, even if they commit acts punishable according to German law”.
