You’ve had 6 go’s at this, and still literally every campaign is one sided, stop adding more weapons and maps if you can’t balance what’s already there.
I’ve been with you since closed beta but I no longer have any confidence in this game going forward, it’s the same shit over and over, it’s not fun to play a game where everything is so one sided, regardless of side. Its not fun if its too easy, its not fun if its too difficult.
It’s been fun but I can’t support this any longer, see ya

Given the number of premium squads released, I think they are going to close.
Well, either I’m a pessimist.
I mean, balance is heavily
- situational and
- not objective.
The bigges problem with campaign balance is the playerbase. If the playerbase is not balanced between the two sides no matter how much equipment balancing they’ll do the games won’t be balanced. Other than that, it’s difficult to balance perfectly two sides that are not the the same. I’d say the devs had it easy so far with mainly the americans and soviets going against germany. Altough US has problems with not having heavy tanks it was solved by slapping a 76mm gun on a sherman and if that doesn solve it, we have the M10 with its 77mm gun.
Tunisia is already a bit iffy since whatever the italians have is weaker than the uk’s stuff, so we have a ton of german stuff, which is historicall I suppose but not that much fun. Still, I grew to love that campaign over the last few months. Pacific tough is an entirely different beast. Japanese had not many semi-autos or smg’s in development let alone on the field while the US army’s main armament was the M1 Garand, not only a semi-auto rifle but THE most iconic weapon of the entire war alongside classics like the MP40 or the Thompson. Yes, there were nieche situations where a specific corp of the US army preffered the 1903 Springfield over the Garand but it’s the exception not the rule.
So currently we have a campaign depicting one side, which wasn’t technologically that advanced compared to the other and mostly relied on swift strikes against opponents who weren’t ready for it and the other side which was a technological and economic powerhouse. How do you balance that?
hmm, i wonder why despite being nr1 on consoles on launch most players leave ?$?$?
maybe we need more premium squads and paid campaigns ?$?$?
cu$tomization will $urely fix this
You cant change a players decision. If the majority wants to play the japanese for the moment, they do so and there is absolutely nothing you can do about it. (Except giving some XP booster cookies to the “underdog” faction?)
