This has been suggested a few times already. A bonus like this not only incentivizes players to perform well in a losing scenario, but it reduces the amount of players that leave mid-match, give up and don’t try, or change playstyle from objective-based to prioritizing score increases (prioritizing AT gunner HE spam or shooting down bomber strikes). I highlight the last one because the game currently rewards me more to do that when I know I cannot win the match.
So yes, I believe there should be some system (whether it is based on team score placement or Battle Hero Badges) that encourages players to try their best to win no matter the circumstances. It leads to a healthier environment, makes good players not feel like they’re wasting time/XP bonuses, and gives new and learning players another carrot to reach for.
Dunno but if there’s even just barely any room for exploits, someone will be doing it.
Even though I acknowledge that as long as the bonus is a multiplier, and not a flat score bonus, actual game activity is required to make it worthwhile.
You kind of already do don’t you? You get a multi 1.5 X for battle hero.
Part of me thinks its a good idea - part of me thinks that’s why people just camp and farm in vehicles when losing and finish high up the table without really contributing to trying to win.
When encountering an extreme environment or convoy and ending the defense in a few minutes, it is difficult for the first place score to exceed 3000
But if it becomes one-sided and jailed, the score can easily exceed 6,000.

Victory bonus is a bad incentive that promotes victory farming and should be replaced.
That juicy 1.5x boost should be awarded to all players that played objectives and built at least one rally.
