20 Wacky & Wild "If ... then you need more hours in Enlisted" Takes

With the current forum trend being discussions about the many great upcoming updates, events & goodies which are all pointing out at the obvious Enlisted is getting better and better :elephant: in the room, why don’t we, the players, take but a moment to do a 180° and look at some “wacky & wild” ways of improving ourselves in the meantime too ?

FkHvNl

That being said, I’ve baked a collection of self & popular community takes, coated them in vanilla cream and then placed a silly but easily replaceable " then … " conclusion pair of :cherries: ontop for everyone to poke fun at or learn something from, so, without further ado, here we go :

1 - If you use any auto option weapon in semi-auto or slow-auto, then you need more hours in Enlisted.

2 - If you don’t use wide squad formation 24/7, then you need more hours in Enlisted.

3 - If you only “main” less than 3 campaigns instead of all of them and are actually proud of that, then you need more hours in Enlisted.

4 - From round start to finish, during each objective cap/loss, if your :brain: doesn’t enter a “I need to drop a rally” mode, then you neeed more hours in Enlisted.

5 - If you can’t one-man-army solo carry whole rounds, then you need more hours in Enlisted.

6 - If you are pissed off at bots 360ing you trough bushes, then you need more hours in Enlisted.

7 - If you refuse to play certain campaigns due to the fact that they currently lack a playerbase or their playerbase just currently sucks and are affraid you will lose most of your matches, then you need more hours in Enlisted.

8 - If you’ve played Warthunder in the past and expected Enlisted to be “a different kind of experience” in any way, shape or form, then you need more hours in Enlisted.

9 - If at any point in time you thought that having/playing a sniper that’s not Sniper MKB/Sniper AVS/Sniper STG/Sniper FG is actually viable and helpful, then you need more hours in Enlisted.

10 - If you can’t squad wipe anyone with any main weapon in the game ( yes, even our beloved Berdan II ), then you need more hours in Enlisted.

11 - If you don’t know what plane flaps/airbreaks are and how/when to use them, then you need more hours in Enlisted.

12 - If you thought that any Achievement/Event/Battlepass task to date besides “Capture 10 strategic points in one single battle” are/were hard to complete, then you need more hours in Enlisted.

13 - If you hoard silver orders instead of living the good life by fitting your every soldier head to toe in equipment / rnging for max stat soldiers on all squads/all sides/all campaigns, then you need more hours in Enlisted.

14 - If you only played on NA/EEU and think that you’re actually good in comparison to their playerbases then please try playing on EU servers and you’ll soon see that you’re gonna need more hours in Enlisted.

15 - If you don’t have the bare minimum of at least 2 x Gewehr 43 Chambered in 7.92x33mm Kurz and still deny it as being the best weapon in the game, then you need more hours in Enlisted.

16 - If you still refuse to accept :broken_heart: +35% Vitality as being the best perk, then you need more hours in Enlisted.

17 - When playing as the attacking side, if your only way of dealing with a high value target is to suicide bomb it, then you need more hours in Enlisted.

18 - If weapon sights are your #1 priority when judging a gun and it’s performance, then you need more hours in Enlisted.

19 - If you missed a full magazine/clip when shooting at someone and then blamed weapon dispersion, then you need more hours in Enlisted.

20 - If you deny Soviet bias not being a thing despite it being very subtle and barely impacting gameplay, then you need more hours in Enlisted.

Feel free to debate the above takes or even better, supliment the list with something equally as wacky & wild and as always … Like, share & subscribe ! :camera_flash:

21 - If you don’t spam things that make the game annoying and unenjoyable for other players, then you need more hours in Enlisted.

I think otherwise. And I still had way better results than you (when I encountered you in game).

Guess perks arent everything and you still need more hours in Enlisted. :man_shrugging:

+15% sprint speed would be a close contender if only you couldn’t make up for it with swords and the fact that AIs that are far behind the owner player get bonus sprint speed in order for them to catch up.

If you are referring to that Tunisia match that you posted a while ago then I’m afraid to inform you that it was my IRL friend playing at the time as everyone who visits my place is more or less obligated to play a round or two of Enlisted and commit as many pixelated warcrimes as possible.

Nah, quick revive is best pick for me. And with better heal it’s my favorite combination. With most of classes you can’t combine vitality and better heal. I don’t use vitality very often. There’s no need for that perk anymore, BAs aren’t meta in any campaign anymore. (Tho some CCs are acting otherwise)

That was posted by completely different person.
I met your acc on pacific, your account typed “crybaby” at start of game for no good reason whatsoever. I guess it was another friend of yours as well.

True, but it indirectly somewhat forces the user to play 4x medkit/backpack combo for full 100% use out of it.

Just wait for the meta shift once medics are in all campaings. 2 medpacks with 100% base perks of assaulter/mg III will be king

Also perk rework could change this a lot

As someone who straight out ditched WT for Enlisted, and put enough hours in it to max out 10 factions out of 12,

I still think Enlisted is a better experience than WT by a noticeable margin.

1 sometimes you need play in semi or slow auto

2 sometimes you need play in close, medium or long range squad

3I don’t like Stalingrad, but I like Pacific,I play the other maps as well

4 I am engenier main, I build a lot

5 I do and I try survive to all cost as I try help

6 You must admit the bots on bushes are a bit frustrating when you can’t even see them

7 Ok,I don’t like the Factory of Stalingrad,it’s a map who I dislike, I don’t mind the city, but for me,the factoy is a boring map, that’s why I avoid it and avoid Stalingrad for that

8 Ok, they are two different games, so your point here is useless

9 I use all I have for snipe even without scope

10 I use all I can for kill, however I know my skills,I am more useful aiding as engenier or medic than using assault or whatever, I use also machineguners

11 I know them and how use them, but I admit I keep forget wich key is

12 Most of my games end too fast because we rush or get rushed for do that

13 I am fixing that

14 I am European I know the feel

15 I have them

16 I think they are better perks and all depends of the build you plan for your soldier, for example,a Flamethrower would use more the running perk

17 Sometimes bomb is useful, sometimes other tactics are needed

18 Every weapon, even the shitty ones have their use in the games

19 I fix this and I try shoot slower, specially with machine guns

20 I don’t agree in this

so maybe you need more hours than I

Not much you can do against a stack of players with max level gear when you go to start a new campaign and you happen to be on the less popular side, BUT if you do have gear, then for sure you can put a lot of work in.

I let my AI “earn” maxed out gear, which also comes with customization if available, before they do get it all they’ll just have whatever weapon level was rolled, and at best a normal nade pouch alongside 1 frag and explosion pack (and of course a medkit). I just think it makes it a little more interesting

I do this thing called playing on the closest server for me

Vitality perk users when I show them a bolt action / automatic weapon (They now realize that +35% now does nothing to stop death)
I personally prefer vitality only on AT gunners / Gunners, and only on everyone else depending on what the opposing side will generally have and only if it’ll be effective most of the time.

For that I think is the best, it really just comes down to (almost) anything that can come in advantage without having to be shot at, which takes out medkit use speed instantly. Some of my favorites are sprint speed, crawl/crouch speed, and throwing range distance

I mean, there can be some things here, like using a Sten (Or many SMGs for that matter) @40m+, since yeah, funny 0.9 dispersion on the Sten

I do the funny thing called brute forcing my way through, rally comes down if I know the enemy team is actually going to put up a fight

Best chances at that particular one are on small Conquest maps like the one with the church on Normandy for example.

Has spent 200 days playing a game and then has the nerve to tell other people the grind isn’t bad. Hmm

I like the idea of being able to drag injured soldiers away from fire, instead of being downed and sniped by everyone and their AI.
Also welcome back.

Well, I played alot of WoW in my time, so I’m used to a long grind but that game is a real MMO with a whole world full of people, places, monsters, dungeons, etc. ( aka alot of things in it ). The only thing “MMO” about Enlisted is the grind lmao. So on paper and compared to another popular MMO, the grind is “fine” and on par, just that … umm … Enlisted’s not that. Enlisted’s a niche FPS with it’s own twist in a totally separate game genere dimension.

In the end, it’s not a matter of principle, it’s a matter of perspective.

BA might not be meta, but it’s still the best. Running around one shotting smg lovers.

Yeah, people don’t know what an MMO means anymore

And MMOs have a long “grind” because that’s the reason people play the game.
