I got to ask… why with the marginal/limited use weapons like the Chauchat and MG30 again??
Because they are unique and premium Squads need some uniqueness…

The MG30 power creeps the MP41 harder than you think. A laser LMG that 2-taps everything is insane.
Chauchat is kinda bad tho

first of all, define uniqueness.
because the mg 30 along side chau chat weren’t unique or rare at all.
according to a famous:
the mg30 wasn’t unique at all. it was one of the standard mgs of the wehermacht. something that we should see in the main line up of grind insthead of being in a over proporsonal and overpowered squad full of them. it’s just utterly unfair for the soviets.
while the chau chat it’s… meh, i gues they are fine. but no match for their counter part.
and no. this marketing system just kills the game to get those 30 bucks off people.
might work in fast terms. but surely not on long ones.
oh and yeah, i don’t think we should discuss about the colorfull and fair balance that brings over the balance. because i’m sure we are:

If I remember correctly it lost against MG13 in competition for wehrmacht’s MG.
Wouldn’t the Chauchat for Germany, and Maxim-Tokarev for Soviets work fine?

yeah it did.
but nontheless those mg were still present on the front line as second choise of relayability.
eventually outclassed by mg 34 and other mgs as well.
( for the main reason of magazine capacity, fire per minuts, and above all, weight )
How so? If both LMGs are low RoF, they wouldn’t out-DPS the normal LMGs.
