It’s ridiculous, M13, plane.50, Dhsk, .50 has to multiple shots to kill (dmg like 7.62 rounds in-game), not sharing the same DMG with HMG built by MG squads.
These rounds 12.7mm,20mm,25mm not 1-shot kill and overheat too fast is ridiculous, they need buff by 1 shot kill and reduce overheating.
it should be

(I got the gif from the net, rambo4)
If this
suggesting is too op, then buff them to 1shot down without dmg drop during range, no matter +35%

I expected such a scene when I first used the flak pz1.
I was very sad to see it required 3 to 4 20mm shots to kill someone…

As gruesome as it is, I agree.
Like when I’m trying to shoot a paratrooper squad using an AA gun emplacement and I get 4 white marks before even getting a red mark. What the hell is even that? It’s like the game is just mocking me at that point.

Every single time I hop on a plane with anything less than 30mm it is the exact same thing, no matter what I hit I always to empty half of my ammo load on an enemy plane or waste hilarious amounts on a single guy - and hell 30mm still underperforms compared to its real capabilities. No matter how many guns the plane has it always takes inordinate amounts of ammunition to do anything against a plane. Even the minengeshoss rounds that the MG 151 should be spitting out feel anemic and woefully ineffective.

The heavy machine guns also can destroy sandbags and other cover all guns that are 50 cal or higher should do this no matter of placement on a vehicle.

its funny how the type 97 anti tank rifle will absolutely demolish somebody but the AA cannon that fires the same caliber just barely tickles people

yup, most of planes that dont have any bombs/rockets are useless because of this

This should also count for tanks - 20mm auto guns should be devastating against infantry, guaranteed one hit kills + HE ammo should deal noticable area damage, even if in a small area. That would give new players great infantry support power from the start.
Also, I really liked how Shermans used to be very powerful despite lacking propper ammo for their main gun - those 50 cals did great damage.

This is not even that crazy, the fact that AA guns have very limited ammo capacity and need to reload compared to HMGs already compensates for the fact that they can turn 360.
