100mm Tanks for Soviet

Well, I don’t care much about the name, this is the IS2 tank with 100mm cannon.

:rofl::rofl:
gwegwgw2
i’m not main! i just playing the game.

IL2s exist, but they are in BR2 and BR3 and have very weak rockets, we are talking about BR5.

What a surprise when your images and your actions prove me wrong.

There you have it, it will be “weak” But there is something that the Germans and Japanese do not have

i am no expert in tanks, so can you explain what makes it is2 from that picture and not is1?

I’m trying to strike balance, when you equate SU 100 with KT, the problem is yours, not mine.

We are talking about BR5. You can’t compare T34 with IS2 just because they both have cannon and MG.

Wait, something made me suspicious, I will answer you again after researching this specific case.

is just an idea

both are amazing guns (specially mg42 100) but RD even if it has less fire is a literal laser also remember that is the only MG able to be used while moving with no penalty (also it has almost nonexistent movility nerf 45% move speed for germans 80% for urrs )

obviously we are not going to forgot abt urrs and japan im 100% sure there would be any weird prototype or unusual plane able to be P-47 counterpart for all nations

If you want a Soviet tank with 100mm TT, ask for the SU-100, a different version than the Premium. But Don’t Ask for Tank Prototypes

Well, what do you propose for a P-47 analogue?

Well, the hull of the IS2 and the IS1 are very similar and it uses the same hull and turret, but after research I found out that this tank uses the IS2 engine. So it would be more logical to call it the IS2 100? (Its original name is Object 245)

Well I doubt it, they always forget about the Soviet Union and Japan. Even in the Jet update I was afraid they would be forgotten.

Weak armor and no turret, how do you equate the two?

Well, I have no idea, I have no expertise in World War II aircraft. But as he said, you can definitely find something by searching.

well i found that soviet army did experiments on is1 with 100mm gun and decided to go with is2 with 122mm gun instead. i didnt find any source of is2 with 100mm gun except 50s modernization.
until you show me some actual evidence of ww2 is2 with 100mm gun, i will consider this is1 with 100mm gun.

russian side might have some actual proof of it…

Would like to see T-44-100
Suggested it a few weeks / months ago

There are two mentioned here.
Object 245 - 100 mm D-10T gun, 30 rounds
Object 248 - 100 mm S-34 gun, 31 rounds
The hull of both the IS1 and IS2 tanks was the same, but I’m sure I saw somewhere that the Object 245 used the IS2 engine.

@robihr
I removed the numbers and gave the object names(245 and 248), although they are actually IS4 and IS5.

More 100mm soviets tanks are inevitable I think.

Still wonder why they didn’t make SU 100 a tech tree tank.

Yes, I had noticed this mistake, almost everything about these two tanks was the same, the only big difference was their cannon.(85 and 122)

Su 100 predates the KT (H) variant so there was no need for so much firepower in the TT at the time as the KT probably never was planned to come.

My guess is that some executive orderd the KT (H) to be rushed out to quickly fill the pre merge content drought without fully thinking it through.
