10 reasons why this game will fail

Just out of curiosity what mode and campaign are you playing?

I feel like you’re playing a different game than I am. Your comment about the sniper definitely indicates you want to play in a different manner than I do also. That’s one of my least favorite classes.

I’m playing Squads, Normandy, US right now. Eyeing Squads, Moscow, Germany now.

Engineer & Bomber primarily.

Sniper main, opinion discarded. Try talking to a woman in real life, sweaty.

Yes, with too little content to play.(to reach lvl 27 with premium you need only about 50 hours)

FPS game is not about MMO styled progression where it is bread and butter of daily life. However the point is, that demanding so much money for an indie game is insane.

Yes, I’m completely shocked that CBT squads for Berlin is too expensive and cannot be bought separately, even though they are already nerfed…

I understand why you guys have a negative reaction to what he is saying. It is not a good feeling when someones “attacks” something you enjoy or love.

But above all we have to be realistic he ain’t wrong. Let’s not lie to ourselves.

It is not fun to be spawn killed on Normandy map (heck on any map) due to a plane nose dive you as you just left spawn and he gets 12-20 kills in one dive.

Or the fact that the game is very anti consumer and it’s full predatory business practices and unless you pay you are left out of content or forced to do insane grinds. Sometimes the insane grind applies even if you pay. Let that sink in that you need 81 level I soldiers ( yes eighty-fucking-one) to make a level V soldier.

I could go on about multiple examples but if devs dont wake up, the game will die fast and no amount of payed streamers will bring it to life.

I’m going to humor you with this one, because I really think he is. Lets take a look:
::The maps are way to small for the game modes , I feel like im playing MW2 maps
-subjective, inaccurate
::The movement is over the top

  • I don’t even know what this means
    ::Planes are fucked, They are ether way to easy to kill or to hard
    -sounds like a “git gud” issue, not an issue with the actual game
    ::Every class feels dull and really boring to play aside from the Sniper
  • again, massively subjective, and, I would argue, downright untrue. Plus as I previously said OP likes sniper the best so I can only assume he’s a sweaty tryhard whose opinion doesn’t matter
    ::Its over hyped because some twitch streamers

    ::Why did the spawn points ever get kept in a small ass room
    not sure what he’s even talking about again? like the actual spawn points or the capture points? either way who cares, he’s wrong
    ::The interface is garbage
    it takes some getting used to, for sure. For everything you have control over, however, it’s necessary

If the game fails, it will be because the tutorials are just plain bad. They’re basic FPS tutorials when the game is anything but a normal FPS.

The Tutorials should be around the gameplay, differences, and interface. Seriously, is anyone coming into this game wondering how to move around in a FPS?

It’s Normandy… If it was easy to get off the beach, I’d be disappointed. Engineer squad for the win!
Lose a few guys, lay down in some craters, build lots of cover, build a spawn point, and take that ground!

Now that’s an “Enlisted” Tutorial.

People play tutorials on a fps? They all use the same generic controls.

That or “C”, but the point is that there seems to be a large influx of players in PC games that have no idea what the basic controls are. It’s odd.

Its funny cuz all games use the same 2-3 keybinds. So it really shouldnt be that hard to figure out

That’s my point… I can’t remember if I had to play them or just did because the interface was so confusing and I didn’t know where to start with it. Those tutorials are an opportunity to highlight why the game is unique and how the dev team envisions the game playing out.

What they have is pretty generic and I’m not even sure why they bothered with it.

They bothered with it because people asked because they didn’t know how to do the generic stuff in the tutorial
