I would like to suggest the 10,5 cm LeFH 16 L/22 auf Geschützwagen Mk.VI (e),
in the invation of France a lot of equipment of both french and british origin were left behind and in typical german fashion, all thats not very good will be repurposed and modified, such as this.
6 british Mk. VI light tanks were rebuild to have the WW1 10,5 cm LeFH 16 L/22 in an open compartment.
They were (tho yet without armor) allready build in June of 1940. Their purpose was close infatry support and they were as well quite potent against enemy tanks, with exception to the later and heavyer ones.
They where put in 2 platoons of 3 with the 15th Artillerie Regiment with the 226th Infanterie Division.
While there where mainly infantry support some took a more offencive path, where they showed their own drawbacks of beeing light relativly thinn armored tanks, which ended rather badly for them.
It could be placed at Rank I, duo to having low armor. OK ish AP performance (When not given HEAT). Great Anti infantry power, however unlike the 7,5 cm KwK 37 L/24, with a relatively long reload time.
Also beeing open topped it can be easily straved and overrun.

Bro, we don’t need no more shitty self propelled guns with no armor protection and a turret that can’t rotate. The only one that is actually good is the Ho-Ri but that thing is a whole other beast when it comes to SPGs. What you’re suggesting is more meaningless mid tier slop that people will look at for half a second only to never even remember it’s existence later on.
I respectfully disagree. Not everything in the game has to be end game BR V meta stuff. Equipment like this keeps things interesting. I’ve seen lots of great suggestions of rare weapons I didn’t knew existed that could work in the game. The only thing I would suggest is that Germany has more than plenty of equipment to choose from right now. Gotta make room for the other factions to have something too, like Japan for example. Both Japan and USSR are missing an event APC, for example.

It wouldn’t be good even in a BR2 scenario. It’s thoroughly outclassed by the Panzer III J1 as a tank killer and outclassed by the Panzer III N as a HE lobber.
Yeah, and as i wrote, it could fit in Rank I.
As if Gaijin would allow a HE lobber like that into BR1
Any and everything is neat from a historical perspective. I welcome any and everything to the game. Variety is good
It’s like the Panzerjager 1 is some weak little vehicle, but I think it should be added because it was Germany’s first tank destroyer

You’d look at it once and go back to using the Panzer III J1 or Panzer III N. Stop pretending you care.
Why so salty?
Anyway, there are people that also only play Rank I or so. And this is still a 105. Different playstyle.

There may be many people like that but not me. I don’t chase the meta. I use anything simply because I feel like it. As I always say I will choose Panther just as easily as a Panzer 2 at any given moment
I feel anyone should play as any vehicle they want and do whatever job they can

This thing will never be BR1. All the open top vehicles with big ass howitzers like the M8 Scott are BR2 as is the Japanese Ho-Ni. It doesn’t matter how fragile it is but if it has HE lobbing capabilities, it will be BR2

The opinion of one man changes nothing.
M8 Scott (even if slow) has a Turret, .50 cal and a 75mm gun with quick reload.
The Ho-Ni I, has a Medium velocity gun, with greatish AT performance. So of course they are rank II. Same as there not beeing a Rank I German 75mm gun, nor a Rank I 5 cm L/60 gun.

Ok, then your opinon also doesnt matter.
You can leave now then.

Perhaps, but this game already has so much content and it will continue to grow.

So that just condemns this 105mm Howitzer SPG to the realm of BR2 which means it is outgunned by both the Panzer III J1 and Panzer III N
Maybe, maybe not.
After all it is rather low velocity and relatively slow reload, no turret and no armor.

Probably would still condemn it to BR2. Big HE shells typically have that effect when it comes to Gaijin balancing.
