[With concept art] Premium/Event squad customization improvement! 🌟

Yes you got it correct, :+1:

It should work like this:

  • purchase the premium squad, then you get the uniform to use on free squads.

That’s right, so my British friends misunderstood me. That’s how I understand it. After all, this way they can both fund the enlisted and allow their tech tree squads to use advanced squad camouflage uniforms.

I don’t just think your approach is realistic, it would be another incentive to purchase a squad (or, grind/gamble out the event squads through silver crates).

I’ve personally said before that I am not interested in buying any motorcycle squad, ever. But, the Japanese one with the cool chest piece? That alone would make it worth it.

Not because of the armour bonus… my thoughts on that is well known (so I’ll hush up about it), it’s purely for style points.

I just realized that this suggestion also helps with the ā€œsoviet turtle problemā€ and would interest players in looking cool instead of just spamming body armor haha…

Only removal of armor from customization can solve this problem

They’re losing money by not implementing this, and especially my money

Once purchased, premium squads should completely unlock so we can customize both uniforms and weapons. I for one would like to be able to use something I paid for in other BR levels so I don’t have 25 premium squads sitting in one BR level.

Should have been like that from the start - though we got used to ā€œgold, BP or event weaponsā€ to be slightly better than TT alternatives, which is why those are limited. BP weapons were even limited to 4 I think per campaign.

No, per account.

BP weapons that were available in multiple campaigns could be transferred between them. The same applied to classic Silver Order weapons, provided you had unlocked them in both campaigns.

Oh yes true, I forgot about that.

We all celebrated when they introduced the option to move weapons from campaign to campaign

As far as weapons go, I wouldn’t care if the Dev’s locked the premium weapons to premium squads they are purchased so they can’t use them with other squads, but let us put those premium locked weapons in storage and arm those squads with any other weapon we choose. I have some I only use in Custom matches because I am overstocked at certain BR levels and their weapons really are not good at the BR level their locked to.

To be honest, in a perfect world we could use the premium squads and premium weapons they come with in any squads we like, but I would settle for what ever I can get, or stop buying premium and event squads since I have more then I need anyway.

And back when they hadn’t changed it yet, you could get a maximum of 3–5 GO weapons.
It depended in how many campaigns they were available in.

For example, you couldn’t get more than 3 Suomis, but you could get up to 5 Erma suppressed.

If the weapons were present in only one campaign, you could always get 4.
If in two campaigns, always 4 (2 per campaign).
if in three campaigns, only 3.
if in four campaigns, 4.
If in five campaigns, 5.

I clearly wrote ā€œhelps withā€ not ā€œsolvesā€ the problem.

What i meant: I own some body armor squads. As i would change them for cooler regular uniforms, there must be some others too. That decreases the number slightly and that is better than nothing. Thats a nice bonus on top.

I do not want to change topics to the body armor discussion - this post is about my suggestion  thanks

Do you think they might be ignoring this suggestion for some reason?

There are several reasons why they might not want to implement it.

  1. Laziness:
It’s not worth the effort for them to tackle their spaghetti code to implement this.
  2. Lack of care:
They simply couldn’t be bothered, as their priorities lie elsewhere. (Who knows where?)
  3. Incompetence:
Don’t forget we’re talking about a team that officially announced they’d be adding more vehicle decals to the game. And yet they haven’t been able to do it in the two major updates since then (half a year since the announcement iirc).
