Win bonus have to go

Mmmh. I’m partial about it. In a way he’s not wrong. A good many ppl desert when there’s the slightest hint they won’t get that bonus.

On the other hand I don’t like removing anything giving bonus xp and cards…

It’s the loosing side that needs bonuses. Because in Enlisted loosing side is very often the unpopular faction. The underdogs.

Then remove 1.5x modifier for wining and increase all exp by +25% (so average win modifier with 50% win rate).

as I said, I basically generated it in chatgpt, for this type of issues, even though you can’t always trust AI, it literally has described all the problems enlisted have without even knowing the game at all and gave a specific solution that many forum members have already mentioned.

this is not equal to the holy truth, chatgpt is not able to take into account all aspects of the game and what the developers’ intentions are (no one knows this, probably even themselves)

I only gave this as a general indication of how it should theoretically be in order to solve problems enlisted suffer from. in practice, we have a toxic axis flame squad so nvm

Remember all good old fps games? Old school CoD, RO1&2, medal of honour etc. ?
There was no concept of xp in those games. Everyone played and gave their fullest because there was no penalty for losing. Nobody deserted at all (except eternal salty skill issue ppl but eh), everyone only focused on fun.

Enlisted is different, being grind based with enormous xp requirements…

In Enlisted, there’s a big penalty for being in the losing side. If you normalize the 1.5% bonus the winning side gets as just the normal amount of xp, the fact the losing side does not get it could also mean a plain penalty. Different way of saying it, but it’s an equivalent.

Now ppl will say “but ppl will stop trying to win without xp incentives!!!” It’s just not true. At all. Humanity being competitive by nature, even with 0 xp involved in game, players try to win. It was true in good old games I mentioned up. Still true today. Just go see custom matchs, like:

(Free advertising) @tommyZZM fantastic Big action mod! In this mode you can play truly large scale battles! Call reall arty strikes, build tons of different stuffs, transport vehicles, fun! Play it you fools.

Ppl try to win in this. And sadly we get no xp for it… Yet I get more fun here than base game :stuck_out_tongue:

Long rambling finished.

I completely agree with you. In reality, it’s exactly the opposite.

I mean seriously.

We play boring card games with family, no money involved, and everyone tries to win.

Friendly soccer practice. Scores don’t matter but… Everyone tries to win.

Kids starting a race in the playground: Kid who won the meaningless race sure is happy to boast about it.

It’s everywhere. Those saying 1.5x is NECESSARY to incentive ppl to play objectives are either delusional or hypocrites. It’s just a sweet xp bonus. Everyone like xp. I like xp. You like xp. I already win most of the time, xp bonus is nice, but when losing, even when hard fought battles, the no 1.5% penalty is just… meh.

most likely they’re afraid their XP boost will be gone when in practice the missing XP boost will be transfered somewhere else to remain exp gain as it is.

Not really

Or

“You lost, then you lost”
Deal with it, lmao

I recommend to read whole topic from which I am quoting.

Lol next time if you join any competition and lose. You should complain to the authority that they punish you.

Lol if this statement is true, they won’t desert due to not getting 1.5 x XP in the first place.

Doesn’t make sense. I am desserting because it’s waste of time to not win. 1,5x is huge bonus. I am wasting time every time I try to carry bad team which is going to loose anyway.

I am trying to get as many things as I can before merge.

There is a problem that can’t be ignored. Players who run away from the team will greatly affect your victory, which is why people are angry. Because the players who stayed were harmed by the players who escaped, and if no one in the team escaped, then everyone might have no resentment.

Except in this game. There’s a huge amount of players that don’t give a fck about winning or losing.

Like Adamnpee said himself, still he liked your statement here and agrees with you (kinda weird).

Lol we are not talking about the same thing.

“Lol” they will, because the sense of inequalities created by the big difference in rewards. One side is heavily rewarded for playing well. The other side gets jack shit, even players who lost because of the time, but DID play well.

“Lol”

Remove the grind, and the rate people earn shit for their performance won’t matter anymore.

'Cept this is a free-to-play game, and the grind is integral.

Efficiency in grinding is the meta.

I think rewarding the top players on the losing side is a great idea. Neutralize the multiplier for wining/losing - the worst thing that they could do.

Wow then what does this mean? They won’t care even there is 0xp?

I’d get on board IF ppl playing well get something. Like if best players, even from losing side, get the 1.5%.

Because losing that bonus because of a bad team… well ppl just desert.
