Why The *^%$&^%$ Did I buy a Premium Plane for the pacific to have up for free a few days later ?!

I didn’t even buy them, but it’s still a major fuck you from the devs to everyone who did.

And yeah yeah, you can weasel around the details but this was incredibly pointless and misleading to treat paying players like this.

Like: why would you behave like this? It just makes no sense whatsoever.

And what’s the lesson you’ve learned from this experience?

wouldn’t be an issue if premium units didn’t cost more than many full games nowadays…

I don’t mind supporting the game, but this was a step in wrong direction, when it comes to player loyalty, as I said just hope it doesn’t happen often.

It was very vague but i agree. the way i read it , It was prudent to wait and see what event ones were first.

By the way, to whoever thinks this is OK, here’s my cynical prediction of how this will end up playing out:

People got fucked over now, in the next update premium sales are lower

More people will just grind the event squads

Gaijin: “Oh shit, premium sales are down! It’s because event squads are too easy to grind!

Gaijin: increases grind requirements for next event squads

Players: wtf

That’s not how it works, people just don’t want to pay for this garbage. It’s no longer a question of being the same cost of a game but rather the same cost as half a week of groceries. Premium sales will continue to plummet.

And nothing, absolutely nothing can fix this, no matter how great they are. It’s why they lean into the chinese market so heavily, it’s the only large economy growing enough to pay 50-60 dollars for a bunch of pixels that just make a grind more bearable.

Tbh post merge is even worse, since US can just grab the P47D with 10 HVAR + 1 500lb vs this shitty plane with 1 drop tank and 4 HVAR

So yeah get screwed by spending 50 bucks for ingame digital pixel

Except that p-47 will no doubtedly be a higher BR.

Hellcat will be the mid BR mans p-47. Depending where the cutoff for Pacific match making is…it might be quite low.

Thats my guess anyway

Thanks for that, I see now they are in fact different, and yes I will have two of them.

The Whole drop tank thing though is to be honest kind of disappointment, it’s not at all that lethal, I get more assists with than anything else.

It honestly seems like a gimmick, like in Warthunder, although I haven’t tried any out yet.

Napalm or incendiary makes alot more sense in enlisted than it does in warthunder.

I mean its fun to wreck open tops in warthunder with napalm, but you can do that with normal bombs without having to worry if its open topped or not.

Im interested to test it in enlisted at least

One detail i didnt see that could make all the difference.

Are they both the same class or different? (Attacker, fighter)

The flame tank is something very underwhelming tbh, you barely get any feedback as soon as you drop bombs, unlike normal bombing run boom 18 kills! All you get is a hard to see hit marker that blinks for a few seconds, up to 20 seconds later, you might get a kill or assist.

The HVARs are good though on Pacific, the axis are really lacking in comparison, I use my other premium (unique ki-xx) if I need to kill tanks as better bombload…

Premiums we’re always sold as unique, I think they could have given the F4U Corsair as event plane to keep uniqueness and appease the ftp players.
