Why i am against PPSh nerf

It’s also the ONLY PPSh variant with anything that low a recoil.

The MP 41(r), for example, is for all intents and purposes the same gun, just with a slightly lower capacity German magazine, but magic dispersion is rightfully gone.

I’m glad it’s finally being addressed.

And damage 6.7

ok.

Again, what if instead we asked for the MP 41(r) (and all guns) to have better dispersion instead of making the PPSh worse. Instead of dragging one good gun down, lets bring all the other guns up.

He’s not a true axis player, a real axis player would never want the PPSH to not be nerfed!

ppsh box is indeed strong, but nerfing it is unnecessary.

Balance is never about keeping similar things in all factions at the same strength. Soviets have better semi, smgs and tanks, while the Germans can have better mgs and aircrafts.

One of the most stupid changes from DF is to move bf110g2 to br4, I never understand why they do this.

bf110g2 should be rolled back to br3, and all the ammunition for Pz3N should be changed to HEAT, then we would have a more balanced and interesting version.

Americans also have advantages over the Germans in br3, so changes above can also make the western front more balanced.

Bringing all other SMGs in line is an option, but buffing all SMGs is the last thing we should be doing, they’re already meta they don’t need it.

Considering the MP 41(r) is great as is, even with a higher RoF and a lower magazine capacity, it won’t be a huge loss, and if it makes people think that “I might as well use the PPS-43 at this point”, well that just reinforces how strong the Soviet SMG game is to begin with.

Therefor, magic Soviet disperion should be gone, it’s simply better and far easier to implement.

It’s easier to nerf one SMG then to buff all of the others at BR III.

Nice balance :\

Yes

I have observed this site partially with fake information and it seems like it hasn’t been updated for a long time.

So it’s better not to trust him.

But infantry is such a big part of tbe game, and the PPSh is ovebuffed. I think its got like 20-30 dispersion. It should have at least 50.

It’s really not that hard to buff them all either tho. We should want weapons that feel good and shoot straight, not this pre-rifling dispersion nonsense. LMGs should also get dispersion buffs. Balance should come from recoil/rof/damage/reload. If I am aiming at a stationary target, my bullet should hit said target.

Well are we buffing every SMG in the game or only BR IiI ones?

I would say buff ALL guns in the game by reducing dispersion heavily. Then increase recoil universally, trying to maintain historical accuracy but also consider balance (for example PPSh irl is extremely controllable, but maybe would need higher recoil for gameplay balance).

This means your bullets will go where you aim. Recoil control will be a skill and will force people to consider crouching/prone/bracing to counter higher recoil.

Who even said PPSH box is getting fixed? Haven’t seen such announcement.

Well I feel like that would make most SMGs a little too overpowered when compared to Rifles.

This is the current situation of BR5:

The Soviets had better assault rifles and aircrafts, and the Germans have better automatic rifles, machine guns and tanks.

And this is the 2nd most balanced version for eastern front BR5 since the merge. The most balanced version is after fedorov been buffed to 13.9 before fg42-2 buffed to 15.3.

Euthy confirmed it here
