Yeah. At the end, you really play for the a flame tank and the Johnson LMG (M13 is already unlocked) which isnt that impressive compared to Africa or France.
it’s kinda funny that the pacific USA it’s unironically the better campaign for the USA as they relatively unlock all the cool stuff that is either end level in other campaigns, or straight up locked behind premium content.
only things that are worse, are the aircrafts and tanks.
though, kinda kitted up when it comes to ATs, utility weapons and normal iconic weapons.
Which? The Johnson rifle is meh, M50 Reising is okayish but there isnt much. US in Normandy at least start with the PIAT and the Lee.
you got at earlier levels much of later weapons stuff compared to the others two.
though, if you are also looking for british stuff, i guess tunisia is good too.
depends majority on the preferences, but normandy is unironically the worst if you are looking for american stuff relatively quickly before the update.
too long levels and the " cooler " stuff is always at the bottom.
hence, why the pacific is best at infantry weapon for grinding.
( a big example, and imo the more worthed one, are the rocket launcher, the tommies and shotguns. plus the premium weapons. ( johnny the rifle, johnny the lmg, and mr 50s wanna be mp34 )
You already get PIAT which is imo better than M1 because it can pen Tigers.
Shotguns are gimmicks.
Tommies are overtiered SMGs which are waste of silvers.
Why Johnson if you have BARs and M1919?
Have a point with the M50. Anyway maybe you get them a bit earlier but Normandy offers more beyond earlier levels and the vehicles are not totally crap.
except, i don’t… see why i should grind more than 30 levels to get fuck all but american stuff.
when i can instead grind 20 levels and get majority if not all those 30 levels ( and only 2/3 stuff of the british. which are even better. like the owen and the other one are actually good )
granted, vehicles won’t be as good, but with the new campaign system or unlock system will allow you then to focus on vehicles. since i think the fondametal base and core of the game still is on the infantry.
so… yeah. i still think the pacific is the best deal. even more if you get the premium pack so that you get the 4 star soldiers and weapons assured before the update.
a key detail that both tunisia and normandy do not have.
therefore a huge time and ticket loss on those campaigns.

what will happen to our soldiers and squads though? will they just Disappear?
what will happen to those who spend gold to level their squads and soldier persk? too

regarding the topic at hand ( which i somewhat derailed )
what happens is that you get to keep weapons and unlocks.
nothing more has been said. we still need the 3rd unforseen dev blog that has been mentioned.
wonder what will happens to stal as well.
If they have the balls to announce SG access death there, this will become a even better devblog.
guess we’ll see.

Japan cannot even compete with mid tier ally arsenal. P 38 is early level plane for normandy. Historically it was designed in 1938. Japan doesnt have any rocked launcher planes not even prototypes/experimentals.
So we will see that relatively higher veteran proportion on jap side meanwhile all us/uk newbies will be slaughtered in pacific.
