What’s this?

An important step has been taken, but until the developers start to get their heads together and really listen to us (and not just copy and paste the usual “Your feedback is important”), nothing will really change.

So, I’m very happy, but I still don’t trust it.

The “number of suggestions getting forwarded” is not directly affected by a revamped forum. This number is actually dependent on the quality and feasibility of suggestions made.

Indirectly though, it might - since this should all come with a better and more understandable structure for suggestions, therefore suggestions that at least appear more high quality and in better formats. Forum Mods and Helpers will aid with this too.

Well won’t this new system only let high quality suggestions get through? Like on the WT forums?

So, suggestions that reuse vehicles from WT or squads that use resources already in the game are more likely to become a reality?

Interestingly, my future suggestions included using existing resources to cut production costs as much as possible and make them easy to create.

You answered your own question then above. Unless the number of high quality suggestions increases, the same number of suggestions are forwarded.

Correctly-formatted (or helpfully-formatted) suggestions are the aim of this, and that is what will increase as a result of these changes. There can be suggestions not many players agree with that are correctly-formatted and backed up with evidence and sources or statistics, but none of this guarantees one being forwarded.

I also personally dislike the nomenclature of “forwarded suggestion” - this sounds as if developers don’t look at the forum and just rely on us to tell them about things, which is not true. They do look for themselves regularly anyway, and we will inform them about the most pressing issues with suggestions. But, this forum will facilitate and make easier any “forwarding” process, as well as for developers looking here.

Ok, also I think the polls are broken

I have serious doubts about this one, given the current state and the enormous amount of times the community has complained about their stupid choices, only to see them again and again.

But I don’t want to ruin this beautiful moment, so I won’t continue commenting on this sentence.

Do we have to repost suggestions that never got an answer…

Dont know if its been noted, rejected or un noticed without an answer. Thats the Reason for bumping topics, but now that is against rules.

Topics can take alot of effort to create

I understand the pain
You have no idea how many hours I’ve spent making suggestions only to have them forgotten in less than a week.

and now that I think about it it’s time to repost the old ones in the new forum

How do company’s always come up with the best roasts

Which belong to high-quality suggestions???
1.A simple suggestion full of expansion possibilities, executability and excellent customer feedback (but since this suggestion merely presents the basic concept, it requires developers to refine, fill in and enrich it)
2. Suggestions on the style of an academic journal abstract.
3. Copy and paste the content and pictures of some weapons and equipment that have been sorted and summarized.
4. Beautiful Latin prayer general suggestions.
5. Suggestions from players who have a good relationship with the staff.
6. Old content written by new players.
7. Rudimentary suggestions and reports similar to those with incorrect version information filling and insufficient supporting materials in the issuse layout.
8. Received outdated/imrigorous/non-compliant suggestions recommended by the staff.
9. Suggestions that some staff members cannot understand and only specific employees can comprehend after reading (due to differences in information acquisition ability and logical thinking ability).
10. Those suggestions for developers to deal with: repeated generation, fixing, fixing, fixing, fixing. Re-generate and re-fix the content of the problem.
11. The developer failed to fully understand, fill in and improve the suggestions.
12. The developer put forward a suggestion that came from listening to players but was resisted by a large number of players.
13.Received suggestions supported by experienced players.
14.The person who made the suggestion received a higher proportion of likes from their friends and social circle.
15.A suggestion that has received a large number of players’ support but is not agreed with by the developers.

So what is the fixed format for high-quality advice?
Are you asking players to submit suggestions, such as in a specific template format? For example: Annual financial report? Confession? Case registration information? Bidding proposal? Litigation report? Medical diagnosis certificate/health checkup report?

PS:
1.When submitting suggestions, players must perfectly write a complete planning scheme for one suggestion (including a complete execution plan, complete program code, texture model), as well as all the supporting auxiliary measures plans, improvement and optimization plans. And the new modules and new technologies that need to be added. Even provide new employees for developers who can understand and implement the suggested content? (For example: Submit the personal information of the author of the Huge Attack mod, tax payment number, and other private information)
2. Is it still necessary to make friends with certain staff members, offer donations and gifts?
3. For excellent suggestions from players. But if developers fail to make effective use of it and it is resisted by players instead, is it because the quality of the suggestions put forward by players is low? Is it still due to the developers’ lack of ability?

PS: Case Analysis
1.For instance, I would like to make a suggestion: only include the vocabulary: motion capture technology.
Then most players, developers and management staff would think: I’m saying that I want developers to collect human motion information through motion capture technology and input it into the game program to replace the current simulation motion algorithm model.
Everyone knows the implementation plan, advantages and disadvantages, and other information of this suggestion.

2.For instance, I proposed to reset the research and development system of the Corps.
There will only be some players, developers and staff. They will quickly understand the brief suggestions I put forward on this.
For instance, expanding the application of the R&D point pool, better recreating and utilizing a vast number of corps (including those brought back from the old era), more occupations, more job ranks, more combinations, more free combinations, and even suggestions for weakening the influence of the optimal combination under different weight coefficients.
Players need to write a considerable amount of space to describe the improvement measures.
However, developers have not paid sufficient attention to this in the past 1 to 2 years (the player community has provided a lot of valuable suggestions), or in the past, developers failed to fully understand or utilize the suggestions and reports handed over to them. There are many cases where developers failed to design and develop properly, resulting in the withdrawal of updated content.

3.Taking the “Big Attack” mod as an example, the player community put forward a large number of complete suggestions. Some managers also supported this and communicated with the author, and submitted a report to the developers.
But two years have passed, and the plan is still on hold.

4.In the past, some staff members claimed that suggestions that received more support were more likely to be accepted.
But the actual situation is not optimistic.
Some of the suggestions that received a lot of love were not adopted.
So in the new future, who will evaluate high-quality suggestions, how will they be evaluated, archived, adopted and utilized?
Who is responsible for the certification, supervision and feedback of the design plan formed based on the suggestions, the compiled code and the functional algorithms made?

Im posting my Ki-21 suggestion again then, it was nicely formatted, well liked and an absolute rarity on the forums, no one argued over it.

Hi,

In the suggestions part I always miss feedback from helpers/devs.

It would be nice to get a
“forwarded/not forwarded”, (from helpers/moderators)
and
“under consideration”, “planned/not planned”, “work in progress” (from testers and developers) or similar phases visible as tags to the threads.

Would help a lot to understand if 90% of the ideas is never read or read just never implemented.

Thanks!

I’d rather not, unless it’s a suggestion where we explained multiple times already that it wouldn’t work (like flamethrower backpacks exploding when shot)

I have started doing similar on a few older suggestions, which you might’ve seen, but it’s not always possible
