It is very notacible when explosive packs land right next to you or on top of the additional armor. Panzerfausts actually deal a little less damage if they hit the armor. (Of course front and back of the tank are not preotected, only these additional armors)

It’s so ugly and silly looking being censored. I’m lucky It’s not the “Cubania” flag, but still. Pz3L works just good enough in Moscow, thought, I don’t need HEAT anymore. Censored pz4 is great for Moscow’s newcomers who don’t have good stuff, thought.
I’ve bought it yesterday, and understood what you meant. It doesn’t start at around 150m like in practice mode, but… at 700m!!! Still, since piloting perks are useless on those gals, I gave them paratroopers perks… And it works great! It’s extremely silly, I gave those gals one Brammit each, and one pps42. I successfully blew up tanks from behind ftontlines, and since Brammit is silenced, bots don’t react too much when shot at.
Aaah. The beautiful trolling I made, I plan to keep doing. Worth it.

Im not sure about the Faust. It wasnt useful in RL, the same goes ingame for skirts apart from AT rifles and HE 75mm shells.

About the shells? i dont know. I use the tank regularly and i got to say, i could take more panzerfausts. Maybe i was just lucky that all the shots fired at the armor somehow did not kill me 
Pz III doesn’t have mini nukes for infantry like Pz IVs.

Funny thing is…
… It does. I suspect devs artificially boosted the pz3L gun strenght. It’s 50mm, yet it’s HE blast radius is as impressive as the pz4. Also goes through wooden structures.
My guess is they tried to balance an otherwise underdog faction. Same reason they reduced Kiraly vert. recoil.
Note: I don’t talk about the pz3j, but really the pz3L. The J is really not good at all, to the point it’s a downgrade of the pz4 that came before it.

I found the Jumbo to be all I need. Ridiculous hard to kill for infantry and will kill most German tanks it encounters even with its HE.
If a tiger or panther shows up you’re screwed in most allied tanks anyways, except maybe for Firefly.
I will likely also get it just for the style.
I checked the prices even with 50% off once again and was like “hell no”.
