Already testing for modern campaigns? Well not that surprising tbh. this game will most likley end up like War Thunder and focus on modern equipment, which is sad.
WW1 campaigns would be something cool, not really happy about modern ones :slightly_frowning_face:

My imagination is that there is a possibility of a parody event for BF2042.
Isn’t it a good opportunity for Gaijin to announce that Enlisted is a game that is not limited to WW2?
Personally, I would like to see modern and past battles in this game. It is difficult to put out WW1 weapons because it is boring in WT, but in Enlisted, the battle of WW1 will be fun.

we should know the Gaijin modus operandi by now of adding content “ironically” to plant the talking point in the community and use it as an excuse to add content they shouldn’t.

Unlike War Thunder, with the current Enlisted formula of separate campaigns you (supposedly) wouldn’t end up facing AK-74s with Garands or such, outside of custom battles.

it’s not about cross-era matchmaking, but that it syphons development resources away from good content, and attracts players who are interested in an entirely different genre who will demand their needs be catered to.

Then you get obnoxious childish shit like War Thunder’s change to dubstep menu music because they changed their primary audience altogether.

Modern weapons were mentioned near the end of the localization file. From the examples so far, the ones added here will appear in the game immediately.
