Sure, if they happen to be paying attention and looking in the right direction anyone can spot the direction of incoming fire. Luckily in the chaotic fast-paced battles in this game, not everyone can maintain such levels of situational awareness; and for the silenced ambusher all they need is that momentary confusion.
The biggest benefit, besides the coolness factor, is their effectiveness at keeping you from getting 360 no-scoped from bots as soon as you pull the trigger.
I would suggest either the Bramit or the 90round ppd.
Both can be transfered over all alies soviet campaigns and they work wonders on all of them.

I have 2 on Stalingrad alies radio squad.
They ain’t worth since a svt will do the same, but better.
They fun, sure, but ain’t a good gun, just the type of shit thats only worth if you wanna collect everything
I’d suggest Moscow Allies. As far as what weapon to get, I suggest the RMN-50. It takes a little practice to really get good with, but is great for cleaning out objectives.
