Actually the Waffengranate rockets were based on the panzerwerfer artillery rockets. So technically they can do either role just fine.

You sure? Because I’ve been in many games where there’s been both a A-20 and a P-38 overhead, and other games where two people would rocket attack with two P-38s one after another. I’ve seen it quite a lot…
And yeah I still highly doubt the BF-110 is much better than the A-20 when it comes to how many kills it gets…

i’ve tried to fly a 51c or p38 while someone else was in a 38 as well and was blocked as such, but this was a while ago so they could have messed something up or was because it was the same model of p38
i’m not saying it is better than a-20 since a-20 is basically a bomber but the bf110 is undoubtable strong, getting as much as 33 kills in one pass if you knew the map and what paths the enemies are likely to take

33 kills. By this logic the A-20 should be capable of getting 60 kills in one pass.
yes it is if the enemy is all bunched up which usually happens apart of the first spawn and if everyone spawns in a 9 man squad as to offset that others will spawn in other spawn hence why there is now there is a 60 second timer for aircraft

Most kills I ever saw in a single strike - before the 1 minute spawn nerf - was a Ju-188 that killed 57 - flown by one of the twitch strteamers a couple of weeks back.
Ok you are really fudging the numbers. The most ive ever seen an A-20 get was 20 kills in the kill feed… that is THE most I have ever seen! If you have footage of an A-20 getting 60+ kills in one fly by you have to show the video because right now I believe you less then American politics.
That you can not get those kills nor see other players get those ammounts of kills either means you play with blankers or you dont play at all.
The numbers Rickyd are putting down are not out of the ordinary. Those are normal numbers if you can keep a plane in the air towards a target. If you tumble down spinning out of control and fire all rockets randomly you will maybe get 4-5 kills. That must be what you are doing?

60 kills is literally killing the entire enemy team in squad games since it’s 10 players max.
I agree to a certain extend with you but not all the way. Out of the gates the German plane is insane. It takes a bit down the campaign before the US gets something comparable and take over from there since we have 2 planes over the one Germany has. At some point it balances out, German planes are stronger 1v1 but we have 2 so get air superiority.
Both sides get bombed to oblivion, thats a fair point to make that might need to change.
The balance between planes however, US wins since we can have the A20 and the P47 in the air at the same time. Which are both really strong planes.
i said it IS possible under certain circumstances, but they had to put a 60 second timer before the first aircraft can spawn and it’s harder to get those as a-20 because germany is defending so they usually get a large amount of spawns on the point itself where a lot of them are in a building

That’s why I am very skeptical of people saying I’m doing something wrong and that’s it’s super easy to get 30+ kills.
Ok, but now we have a timer, your argument is invalid.
the argument was that bf110 could get 15 kills which is a 9 man and a 6 man squad

Which is possible, but highly unlikely, since you have to be at the perfect time, perfect spot, and the enemies have to bundle all together.
It’s not.
On meatgrinder spots on a good run you get 10-20 kills with 2-6 aftermath kills cause damage/downed.
Meatgrinder spots are complete open fields such as the 2nd last Bunker spot on Invasion Airfield or the last 3 spots of Invasion ruins of vaux.
30 kills are really really really rare, since half of the team has to sit on that location in a squadmap for that to happen, and players tend not to clumb for obvious reasons, except when they have to (capzone, spawnzone).
Yeah exactly. But you have to have all the odds roll in your favour, this isn’t something that happens all the time, maybe every 5 strafes of the BF-110. It’s fairly straightforward to wipe a single squad and a few outliers but more than that is an odd occurrence.
you are overestimating the US players won’t lemming train and using your guns as a scouting device plus map knowledge or playing in a VC can get you those numbers
