It doesn’t look like an anti-tank gun it looks more like some kind of mortar with shells.

Armed jeeps are finally being introduced after such a long wait.
However, only three soldiers per jeep is way too few. Five crew members at least would be reasonable.
Wheeled armored cars are also really important vehicles.
Some vehicles within this game have wheel‑based chassis fitted with cannons or anti‑tank rifles. Logically they ought to be armored cars, yet they are currently categorized as light tanks. If authentic wheeled armored vehicles are added in future updates, the classification of those light tanks has to be revised first.

Finally! Excellent work and in the TT! This is going to be fun…so if I read correctly they will restock grenades? Nice touch…standard frag or something else?
This vehicle can exist in War Thunder purely because its anti-tank rifle can shoot through crew members.
But considering that even anti-air trucks armed only with machine guns count as tanks in WT, I feel the Sd.Kfz.221 can only show its true potential if it is removed from the tank category and put into a brand-new vehicle type.
Each update delivers less content; even if it’s something people asked for, mounting a machine gun on a jeep and changing its color should take a week or two of work at most—yet this update brings us just a bomber and a single weapon.

I mean pretty sure this update come with an event with jeep squad so it kinda make sense imo.

Looks like MGs on each faction’s off-road vehicle has a characteristic of different advantage
- Soviet, fast fire rate and big ammo DS-39
- German, very fast fire rate but medium ammo MG-34
- Allies slow fire rate but very big ammo Browning MG
- But Japan got slow fire rate and low ammo Type 11?
IDK How about change it to scoped Type 97 MG, so the characteristic of Japan off-road is although low ammo but has a scope that can aim?
Overall the update looks promising, can’t wait!

These vehicles should be Rider.
But since you mentioned changing the APC Driver…I have felt that instead of APC squads being a Driver and Riflemen instead we should have a Mobile Infantry Class similar to Riflemen, Riders, Paratroopers, and maybe eventually Marines and others. A dedicated infantry type

While its good to have a Lewis gun in the TT. We wanted it for br 3! So much for listening to the community.
but we need a 97 round at br4 the Johnson is not cutting it
we got a 50 roubnd tommy at br4
now we just need a new rifle and br4 allies is the best its ever been
we can always put a 47 round at br3 latter

Indeed, the Japanese faction will be at a disadvantage.
I feel their only remedy is adding another new machine‑gun jeep within their tech‑tree.
Just like unlocking the Tiger H1 prior to the Tiger E.
It’s rather comical that the strongest‑armed Japanese motorcycle squad is the TT variant, while the weakest one comes from the shop
Hey, come to think of it, when can we add ammo and medical crates to jeeps just like on the motorcycles?
Though I feel separating ammo boxes and medical kits as separate items is way too obvious a cash grab.
It’s a pretty reasonable suggestion.
It’s just hard to track down supporting references though.
So far I only know that the Type 92 heavy machine gun could be fitted with a 4x telescopic sight
The only relevant example is the Type 91 tank machine gun. It is a derivative of this machine gun, factory fitted with a 1.5x telescopic sight and a large 45-round feed hopper.

It seems like a lot of complaints about the new equipment? The community has wanted these things since I started playing…and now we have them, awesome! Who cares what class they are in, after all…riders RIDE…not to mention with my Premium account I can bring 4 driver class to battle, WAY more then enough room. These are the most iconic examples for each faction and I for one welcome it…they even added a Japanese bomber and they NEEDED it. I see this as a win…would I have preferred a different variant of the Lewis? Yes…but will still gladly take this one…there is always future updates, plus with event and Premium Lewis .303s it might be harder to add without removing value from the others. Everything can’t always be fire.
Plus, the SitRep mentioned a new map or theater, plus animation updates, etc…I can’t wait, it’s huge!
