Is this German MG‑34 machine‑gun the belt‑fed variant or the drum‑magazine variant?
It doesn’t matter if it has realistic stats its just food for AA guns with that amazing speed and no armor.
Not really. At least the Soviet motorcycle with an anti-tank rifle from the last event was pretty useless, barely served any purpose. Meanwhile, the reward from that event was the Japanese Tiger.
Setup 4
500 kg Navy Type Number 50 Model 2 bomb
Now its br3
Is this turn‑rate caused by thrust‑vectoring manoeuvrability?
I think it would be better to nerf it historically and move it down to BR 3
The turn rate is not helping this aircraft much unless they give its main gun some insane damage however there is no logic this bomber to have such turn-rate its given some magic stat. Its not an aircraft that Japan desperately need its super iconic however its just bad at being ground attacker at BR IV. Even P1Y1 mod. 11 would have been better it will be still bad but at least it fits BR IV ok while G4M1 hard to put in a specific BR since it has 7 crew members and yet terrible ground attacking capabilities outside of the bombs and good turn-rate would be nice for something like B7A2 that has cannons at the front this thing has 7.7 mm machine gun what you gonna kill with it at BR IV ? xD
Its frontal capabilities are a bit better then Potez since 7.7 mm is a bit better and it has a bit more ammo 582 rounds.
Thank you for the conformation… at least they have some vakue.
Rarity doesn’t not apply to rules for weapons post BR3
Isn’t this the rider squad? Rider squads already come with an engineer by default
Um aktually… it’s a driver ![]()
At the moment, it feels like they are over-buffing Japanese vehicles to the point of historical inaccuracy.
In War Thunder, this aircraft has a turn time of 33.5 seconds. But in Enlisted, while its payload was improved, its turn time was cut by 20 seconds.
This is absurd. If anyone claims Gaijin hates Japan in the future, I would say not all nations get to enjoy such favourable stat buffs.

The turn rate is absolutely absurd for such bomber enlisted law of physics never fail to amuse me every time when I see people complaining about prototypes being added I remember how ‘‘realistic’’ are some aircrafts

Many have a skin of a aircraft but it dose not perform like the real one this G4M1 is just a skin noting realistic about it. I really wish they start putting this type of realism in to tanks can’t wait for a Ha-Go with 100 mm frontal armor xD The devs absolutely don’t care about aircrafts in this game is total chaos at this point and the allies are getting aircraft after aircraft as premium and event while Axis even when they get something its super random thing like G4M1 with turn rate of a spitfire xD
These new squads should definately be five men strong, and not three. Otherwise, they’re hardly an upgrade to motorcycles.
They should just put them at BR I since its not really better squad then motorcycle squads.
Why can some random car refill grenades? I hope to see ammo box function for APCs in this update as well in that case.
It can carry 4×250 kg bombs at BR 2.7.
Historically, this aircraft had terrible protection and earned the nickname “Flying Lighter” among the Allied forces.
During the Battle of Midway, hits from the 12.7 mm machine guns of F4F Wildcat fighters would easily set it on fire and make it crash.
Only later variants received self-sealing fuel tanks. Its wing skin was merely 1.5 mm thick aluminium alloy.
They sacrificed so much armour to achieve that long range.
Combined with its armament, honestly, this extremely fragile plane should be moved to BR 3, or given 800 kg bombs instead.
They should not buff its turn rate against historical reality. The airframe is far too weak; it cannot be fixed easily and such changes will only stir up complaints. Now that these stats are shown on the test server, we can only hope they get revised.
The next thing we should post a suggestion about is moving it down to BR 3 and correcting its turn rate.
Yeah, only three crew members. Historically, this setup was for special missions, where three men with machine guns were sufficient. But in the game, we want to use it as an assault vehicle for frontline attacks, so more crew would be better. I suspect the 3-person limit is just because they reused the motorcycle squad’s code, capping it at three. However, this German jeep clearly has room for five people.
A 5-man squad is definitely needed.
I’m not even gonna bother its the next empty update that we are getting since there is nothing outside of the premium squads that is worth it… I’m gonna forget that they even added G4M1 only the paratrooper enjoyers will love it. I’m tired of devs adding paratrooper squads in my ground-attacker slot… but since they are adding Type 95 Kurogane I given them a like despite being useless just for the fun of it im gonna play it.
Seven members, one more than paratrooper squads.
What a shame. If this aircraft were at BR 3, we could recreate the famous scene of the P‑38 shooting down Yamamoto Isoroku’s plane.
“Unknown enemy aircraft downed!”
This update really feels empty. Honestly, merely four jeep squads is very little content. The motorcycle squad update last time offered far more additions.
They spent two months preparing jeeps within the three‑month cycle. Future patches will become extremely slow.
