Weapons and vehicles of the "Hidden Threat" update

It’s jsut simple critique. You should be allowed to put that out there. I mean I pay for this game, and spend alot of time on it.

Will the hidden threat stop the spam of Manchuria map?
Will the preferred map system ever work?
Will we get more than 1 map or is it hidden
Stay tuned! …or will we?

Oh man, you’re absolutely right. Those four points you summed up are really good and sharp. They’re exactly what the game needs to change. It’s a shame that your good post got blocked just because of a few slightly strong words. That’s how forums are—any inappropriate language gets banned according to the rules. That’s why you only see stupid takes here, but never anyone insulting others.

I totally agree with your four points:

  1. The Soviet Union still needs a tank that can fight the Tiger King right now, not some turtle-like tank that fires once and hides like fishing.
  2. The DO 335 has already proven its poor performance at 4.3 in War Thunder. Some players now admit it’s not good, but they don’t face the problem directly. They just say to use it only as a bomber, drop bombs and run. But that still can’t hide the fact that this 4.3 plane is in the same bracket as 6.7 jets just because it has a huge payload. Besides bombing, it really can’t dogfight at all. The comparison is just ridiculous.
  3. The Cromwell is praiseworthy—DF finally added more British tanks to the tech tree instead of putting them in events or as aid squads for the Soviet Union. But BR3 is a really awkward rank. It’s basically just a bigger Crusader. Its BR needs to be adjusted.
  4. As for Japan, all the good stuff has already been released. Now they just have to fill out the tech tree slowly. There’s too little content, so they have to add it little by little. Maybe we’ll gradually see Japan using some captured vehicles later, even if they have almost nothing to do with them historically. You’re right. Self-propelled guns and regular tanks should be separated. This new Japanese tank is extremely unbalanced: great penetration, but terrible armor. Snipers can pick off the crew one by one. Honestly, with that armor, I could take it out even with a machine-gun-only tank. Enlisted maps are too small—even a plane with just machine guns and no payload can wear it down. It wouldn’t be too much to put it at BR1.

Your idea about separating self-propelled guns from tanks, but not by class is really interesting. That way, there will be more chances to add turretless tanks in the future.

So all three of your posts above that got blocked were just reposting the same content, and they all got banned?

yup

nice suggestion, but I hope that not only Germany and Japan, but also all countries’ riflemen can be equipped with assault rifles

Ooooh I would love to hear this too. I mean, I liked the Manchuria map, but now that 80% of my Soviet games take me to this map; not so much anymore!

Please remove the China New Year Red rubbish on my Xbox Menu Screen. And the ugly lampoons and huge red flame horse.

The Event is over.

Not a japan expert. Is there really nothing they can do for more attack plane depth at high tier? I don’t really play planes in Enlisted. I can. I’ve unlocked all upgrades on most of my plane squads and am knocking out the rest. They can be super useful, but I play enlisted for the infantry combat and infantry is the most decisive part of the game as they are the only thing that can really cap or defend points. Sorry that went long.

TL;DR Japan attack plane options for high tier?

What Japan need at this moment isn’t more tank because there’re quite plenty already but more low BR Fighter/Attacker planes, BR 5 Attacker planes with decent bomb loads, BR 4 semi-fire rifle, and BR 3-5 semi-auto sniper rifles.

Well, the US has the M2 carbine, and for now the Soviets will have the AVS-20, which would be more similar to the FG42-1 but more controllable. Until they add Level III Engineers and Level IV rifleman or improve Japan’s assault rifle, there aren’t many ideas on the matter. Riflemen are a decent alternative to assault troops, but they have very limited ammunition. Also, the reason many aim to use assault troops is because they have the most perk points and they aren’t premium.

haha good luck… it is impossible because the amount of people who would complain about further auto spam (for some reason even in 5?) would be relentless

That’s most likely, and that’s without even considering that the game itself hasn’t included Axis weapons, which in theory would be very powerful, like Finnish weapons, for example. When will we see them in the TT or Spanish SMGs in 9mm Long?, The Soviets have received four automatic rifles throughout the game, although they’re literally the same, they have improvements. Germany hasn’t even been given bayonets for the FG42.

@MajorMcDonalds is there any chance the premium Churchill might get fixed this update? It has an American crew for all campaigns except Normandy. It was reported forever ago and still hasn’t been fixed :frowning:

Is there any chances for Koko rifle to get a bayonet btw? It was forwarded not so long time ago though

It was supposed to be added in the previous update, along with the bayonnets for the Fedorov rifle (25). But somehow the devs couldn’t figure out how to give individual bayonnet to players, thus the only way to get them was to get a new gun from the silver box itself.
