Also seen it mentioned in more than just volksturm units, so thats not true, it was used a lot in reserve, rear guard and garrison forces, in particular in France/Normandy.

This entire time I thought you were asking for it in TT lol. I’m sorry. I actually love the idea of having some sort of lend-lease drop event or captured weapons event. Those are the best ways to implement such weapons without ruining the feel of each nation.
