We want YOU!

Actually the main reason I started playing Allies is to see if they are really that underpowered … and I would say, no they are not. I just unlocked the M8 Scott and that thing is FUUUUUNNN. I absolutely love the M1 and the Grease gun, to me the M1 plays like a real low-budget G43 Kurz but as I love that playstyle I feel at home with that gun.
I was shocked when I found out that I could pen Panthers with the Stuart.

Honestly, with all of these experiences I kinda started to dislike this community, for its constant crying, bitching, not only against other players, but against the developers as well. By no means am I pleased that the game is as grindy as it is. I still fear the weapon progression upgrade (hence why I do not invest in backpacks ^^) but hey … give them a break, some support or even some love. This game, after all is amazing

Fun story, I once (and only ONCE) encountered a really better player than me ScrappCo or something was his name, with another guy Evil…something. And my first reaction was “CHEATER!!!” “he’s hacking!!!” and then I was like, damn no he is probably just better than me, cool I can learn from him by fighting him. And I gave my best and in the end I did became better.

People seem to have the need to blame others, to feel better. But you never get better by blaming others, you only get better if you accept your own shortcomings and improve on them.

Sorry for hijacking your thread, but I needed to get this off my chest.

And I am glad that I am not “alone”

Panthers are really easy to pen if you aim for the turret “cheeks”. Learnt that from Berlin. Funny thing is ppl whining about panthers being powerful, even if it’s an end tier tank, are those abusing the jumbo who were not used to competition at all from other tanks

Do not worry about it; “Mess hall” threads are just that, messes! Just discussions between ppl loving the game. Sometimes productive, sometimes less :stuck_out_tongue:

isn’t the panther’s cheeks 100m thick? because if so then only firefly or m10 are the only tanks that can go through that

The lil triangles beside the gun mantlet  granted they’re not very large but it’s doable… no?
Ofc the stuart needs to shoot the flanks of the panther, those are rather weak.
But in the end, I understand much better a end tier lvl 30 being though to pen from the front than the aberrant wall that is jumbo at lvl 20 :no_mouth:

Yeah… tank play in Normandy is… meh compared to other campaigns.
Moscow: best tank is t50, but a pz4 or pz3j can be good opponents to it and offer a decent match.
Berlin: best tank balance (not like when first realeased) panther and last t34 are both able to take out each others, only skill decides.
Tunisia: somewhat good, A Grant tanker will gradually start shiting his pants and panick if facing a Semonvente that knows what to do, who is probably feeling the same thing as the Grant tanker.

Then there’s Normandy. It was fine till they added jumbo, doesn’t matter what allies mains says, that thing had no real counter. My consolation is that for Panther, the m10 is fairly dangerous snd must be taken seriously :zipper_mouth_face:

Once they add new levels for sure but the Italians need all the help right now

xD i guess this is how Popeye says it?

The whole game is a shit no realism at all . The guys are irrelevant to war and guns. A hand grenade destroys tank ? lol .

Detpacks are much more than a grenade
About 1 kg of explosives is capable of penning
thin armor( generaly what you find on the floor or roof of tanks)
