I like the idea of Premium squads with the same composition as regular ones, just with some premium gunners/engineers/troopers/assaulted pre-populated.
however it would be a pretty major boost to their score-generating capability, since even the non-premium soldiers would be getting the premium boost.
I think perhaps it would be more acceptable if only the premium soldiers got the boost, instead of the whole squad? Bit of a change to the system in that of course, but preferable in the longer run IMO.

cause i personally used one like a handful of times and then filed them away as 1 trick pony garbage

Full squads of 7 premium soldiers of the ame type
- The CBT premium squads were very very powerful
- But what the devs did to them is an absolute overkill to the point where using any squad that isn’t Gunners or infantry is pointless.
How to fix premium squads (in my opinion of course):
Let us add normal soldiers from the add on classes for each squad.
So for example engnieer premium squads can add: bomber,radio operator or assaulter
While gunner squads should get: engnieer, radio operator, sniper and bomber
(You can only add 3 soldiers from the options)

we dont want none of that.
all we want, is the same oportunity to have more soldiers of diferent classes in the squad.
no 7 smg’s
no 7 lmgs.
no vitality perk
no extra slot with or without backpack
no extra base stats on the base perks.
no shit like that.
only more options on techtree of the squads as a non premium squad have.

as a selective perk, every soldier with 5 stars can have that one now…

Bro that default perk says +35% faster climbing speed of objects, its replaced with +35% Stamina now
The +35% Climb speed is now the default perk for tier 1 assaulters
Thats the perk for 52.5% faster stance change, tier 1 Bombers have that
The only thing that changed was that after CBT Premium Assaulter squads became Tier 2 and now have the +35% stamina perk
You realize not much has actually changed aside from the additional perks and the perkpoints have only doubled so that it LOOKS like you have more
