We can have awesome aiming!

Don’t you wear glasses/lenses?

Yes I do, but my eyes get tired pretty quickly so they dont help too much.

The muzzle flash on guns is too excessive in this game.

But if barrel end would be further from player, muzzle flash would be smaller, don’t you think?

It will just be harder to see, it’s a game, it will never capture how it truly looks when You aim down a gun.
That why games have to balance realism with gameplay.

Guns look better on Your screenshots, but it would make gameplay worse.
Some sights still need works, as they are barely visible or just obscure all vision when shooting.
Remember You have 2 eyes, do You want everyone play in VR so aiming is “realistic”?

To see what? I don’t suggest removing additional zoom, its a good game mechanic.
And gun will take less space on the screen, so it should be easier to see, no?

The part about removing DoF blur makes me wonder if the OP has ever actually looked down the sight of any real weapon, though.

I can say the same about you then?

It’s harder to see where You aim at, not all guns have nice easy to read sights.
With flat ones it’ll be guessing game if they are even smaller

But in game you don’t need to align rear and front sight, so everyone can easily aim by the end of the barrel.
There is literally no point of sights in videogames outside of realism.

Nice visible sight, circle on top helps so much.

Two tiny holes, there are even worse sights.
Now make them smaller and i won’t even touch those guns below

Looks like nothing has changed since then.

i kinda like it as it is now, it feels like you’re really handle that weapon close to your eye

I like as is now tho. Alot to be honest.

i wouldn’t mind, options are always welcomed. although there’s still much more importnat UI to be done, so it will surely take some time

Yes ofc.

Options won’t hurt. That I would fully support

You just can’t keep your eye(s) focused on front sight, rear sight and target at once, let alone on the cheekrest.

Imo the current system is both functional for gameplay (focus on sight and target at once is already a stretch) and looking kinda realistic by blurring out the closest parts of the gun.

As well as I can’t keep my eyes focused on the whole screen at once.

Again, why game should simulate my eye’s work when I’m playing it using same eyes I aim with?

To try and render a simulation of depth perception on a 2D display?
