Why not just turn on friendly fire for planes … they already do this in LF so it’s in the game … Just turn on FF and a suicide will take away as many points as it gets …
it’s a bad idea because:
A, no one would use plains because of their lazyness.
B, you are giving team killers the keys for heavens and seriously damage the game for that team.
C, not everyone would know that potentially they can harm their own team.
It is a thing already.
If you drop a bomb and crash before it explodes, the bomb will become “neutral” and reap any unit in the blast area, friend or foe.

From reading this thread everyone seems to think they do this to help their team clear a point. they will learn pretty quickly that they will hurt their own team and themselves as well.

Instead, reintroduce bug that simply denied any reward to suicide bombers. Such kills were accounted to “Enemy” in the log and kills just ended up in the void. That alone can stop it. Before this “bug” was fixed, suicide bombing was almost nonexistent.
If you might be afraid that is not enough and bombs explode before crash, just add delay fuse on bombs so kamikazes have a bit longer time to crash.
Short-term solutions tend to have long-term consequences.
I still would do it, just to stop the enemy from advancing.
Is there such a system in the game? I saw many times in Normandie and Berlin where people died for 40+ times for keeping kamikazing for the whole round and get 10000+ scores.

Ngl, when playing Axis side, I totally expect the barrage of rockets from British Hurricanes or Typhoons to be atrocious.
It’s my impression as well. The maps should be fairly large when in open desert, and as such plane spawning points should be further ahead. It’s a must because except 1 or 2 palm trees I fail to see how tanks could hide from incoming bombs.
But it won’t be as “tame” as Moscow, simply because the planes of that war theater will be much more advanced.

Which is rarely occuring and pretty much legit tactic that is not going to profit you directly and was happening from time to time (in scale of few battles, not in one match).

exept, if you keep open the tab for the team, you see that they make tons of kills, but than, all of them get removed if they suicide right after.

But still like to win as a whole team, have good long bloody match, carry old peoples shit from grocery store home. You know, the usual.
i mean u could just remove them as there’s no way to balance the planes at all
there game breaking as u dont have to have to do any thing just ground pound bombing every one including your team ff should be on for planes and bombs should go for strafing runs as well. well the biggest problem is the fact these premium players are totally abusing them 3 planes in there line up needs to go u should only get 1 plane period and make it a 5 min respawn timer on it and 10 mins if they suicide bomb and if they keep doing it it goes up to 15mins for suicide bombers this would solve the plane issues
except that wasn´t always the case? You weren´t around when that bug was active. All we need in payload aspect are adjustments to 250kg/500lb bombs so they won´t have nuke effect anymore, and simple solution I already mentioned (solution that was unintentionaly part of Enlisted for a long time).
I will repeat myself and say yet again, that a lot of former testers me included strongly warned Darkflow that bullshit like this can and will happen. That this will definitely end up as P2W and abusable monetization aspect.
And that was during the so called “monetization closed testing” months before OBT. How Darkflow (aka gaijin) will deal with their past shortsightness is up to them now.
Also sure, I can already see them removing significant portion of the game and readjusting all research levels in all campaigns because of the planes. As much as some players would want to see that, it is not likely to happen. What needs to be done is to adjust “big” bombs for gameplay purposes and work on countermeasures to bomb spawn instead.
This way legit pilots who actively communicate with their team in order to help won´t be affected as much as scum like spawnbombers or kamikazes.
Planes need to stay in the game, they just need a massive spawn nerf. They should be a high risk high reward unit, where only good players can stay alive throughout the match. These no skilled players that just bomb and cancel out of plane at first sign of getting hit, need a 15min spawn timer on the next one they can play.
2 plane runs per CAS per person per a battle, 1 to 2 minute cool down per spawn ( No refueling ). Make it back to refuel/spawn you do not lose 1 of your runs….simple! Good pilots thrive, suicidal morons ( me as I am trying to brake current mode ), will need to adjust.
I am purposely suicidal at this time in planes, prove they are broken….game feature needs some serious looksies ( mainly on Normandy ).
CAS, aim assist, dropping of gernades when dead ….just working features! I say use them as much as possible to force change, its Beta lets break things!
