Major, the rewards have been a bit limited lately; the previous event only gave out 2 tickets even though the rewards themselves were really good and rare weapons, so I think quite a few people would have appreciated getting at least 3.
Well is called mini event for a reason they normally are events that start inside bigger events like the Dday one
So, we need a “Big Event” version with at least four obtainable weapons; honestly, I actually regret not getting two of those MP41(r)s. XD
I’m pretty sure I have about five of those MP-41(r) if I recall correctly, I picked up two TKB-336s to me, those are more useful.
Well like I said the Golok was made by the OSS for agents to go into the Philippines with
Then the Philippine scouts mainly known for the bowie knife they had bayonets to their own standard blade and Marines used them too
Also we regiments with their own machete variant the bolo knife
Example from the 2nd Filipino Regiment

Also another photo I didn’t get the regiment they were apart of

Though these ones are more longer than the bowie knife the Philippine Scouts had
They definately still should be a squad… I don’t care, we should get the Gurkhas!
I’ll have to finish my Rider II squad suggestion, but then I already have plans for a two event squads event…
German Marines (in pre-war blue uniforms) with machetes as their non-removable melee weapons (the one in-game looks identical to one seen in use by a Atlantic Wall marine).
And a Gurkha squad, in either green, light blue, or sand uniforms, with these kukris as non-removeable melee weapons.
I imagine them both being 6-man Rifleman squads, with one Engineer and one AT soldier each, and four Riflemen. However, no one in the squads comes with a special primary weapon - instead, the special “mechanic” of the squad is that the Riflemen in both squads will have the option of equiping rifles as usual, but also both SMGs and Assault Rifles on top!
Why no special weapons…? Well, for one, there aren’t any fitting ones for the Gurkhas that makes sense and not be totally out of place - and really, two squad with unique* melee weapons, very uninque uniforms, and unique squad mechanics (Rifleman flexibility), you really shouldn’t need anything more…
And the Gurkhas have branding, can’t discount that!
“If a man says he is not afraid of dying, he is either lying or he is a Gurkha.”
As you can see, I have put some thought into this… and yes, there would be a non-removeable and removeable version of the kukri at the same time for the Allies. This is because some Commonwealth soldiers did adopt the Kukri themselves after fighting next to Gurkhas. Two rarer versions from this event that you could distribute in the regular line-up, then a whole squad using their own.
It’s basically an assault rifle for BR3, which makes it quite lethal; in fact, ironically, the automatic rifles we have at BR5 are actually light machine guns that would probably fit at BR3 or BR4. However, since my Germans mostly needed SMGs, I bought one of the MP41(r)s—though the issue is that I did so after buying the FN1930, and that one isn’t exactly a very good LMG.
yes
Nah not that ton I think the only LMG ones are the FG and the Type hei auto the FG is mostly a LMG for paratropers
As I understand it, the Type Hei Automatic was part of the project to standardize and modernize the Japanese army; the FG42 certainly straddled the line between the two categories; the T20, I assume, was something like a BAR—which was more of an automatic rifle in the true sense, though it wasn’t exactly commonly used the way we do in the game; and the AVS-36 was produced in significant numbers, but I don’t think it was as effective as expected—otherwise, we would have seen the Soviets using AVS and AVT models instead of just semi-automatics.
Is there a specific reason why the Kukri knife has 120% sprint speed? Or rather, why are event melee weapons given different sprint speed values in the first place? Wouldn’t it be better to standardize them all to either 150% or 100%?
NAHHHH… @Euthymia07-live NKVD knife gets 150 sprint speed but kukri gets 120? This seems like a joke honestly and display of soviet bias… please fix.
OK… it has a charge feature… i still would prefer 140 like the clubs i mean sure 120 is cool like the april fools one… because it’s lighter and not a club? well why does just a knife get 150?
This whole event is a joke
Colt swartz are nice though… always welcome auto secondaries… now just waiting for more mauser mods… of course soviets got 4x in battlepass ![]()
I give to my men to clean their nails.
If we are going to have events like this, would it also be possible to have events like the unification of Germany? After all, that predates the Third Reich.
An excellent suggestion that, in addition to Germany, should also be implemented for Japan and Russia, offering the chance to bring various squads back to the store for purchase with Gold! Just as was done for this event with the Americans! ![]()
I would definitely like to see it as a event. With hopefully 2 Mauser mod 712s and a good gun. With hopefully decent squads for sale
