If you can call 50/45 to 37.5mm drastic.
Is the Chi-Nu2 BR4？ Is it better than the KV series,T34 series,or even the M4 series? DF’s biggest feature should be noted as not listenig to the voice of the player.

Yes, it’s drastic. The difference in effective (not nominal) armor is very significant. Because we’re talking about sloped armor.
A huge number of German tanks had trouble penetrating the T-50. It was a really toxic tank back then, prior this change.

Most BR1 Axis tanks still can’t, but Pz III J can comfortable pen through the turret and BR2 tanks no longer struggle. So yeah the change is noticable but I wouldn’t call it drastic since as you said it has sloped armour which is still unpenetratable for most tanks except for the weakspot which became bigger.

I remember having a really bad time fighting those - but in good ol “Enlisted post dmg” fashion I eventually found out that hitting the cupola with 7.5cm Panzer IV would always one hit kill it, which I learned to do very consistently over the years.
That tank sucking nowadays feels like the devs have robbed me from some major achievement, weird how “complaining about imbalances and praising a challange” can be the same thing.
That being said 7.5cm AP sucks nowadays, they did something to its post pen- but luckily so, I hated that howitzers were more effective against tanks than dedicated AT guns.

The most toxic thing about the T-50 back then was that pretty much everyone owned one. By buying the golden order variant, you could skip all ±29 levels. And since the tank was available in the early tank squad, you could play with it right away.

No, because it has no armor to keep it protected in that 30 second reload time. 10 to 15 seconds max if it gets nerf.
They have that always written on their roadmaps as the golden rule. Just written in invisible font.

Yeah, that’s the original outfit this squad had. Now it’s slightly different in non winter based campaign.
And in Ardennes, it does have green camo pattern instead of brown.
Fixed, the old “Summer camouflage” should be back.
