They fought at Tobruk, but in 1942 iirc, after battle of El-Alamein. Yeah, they finally added Italian Helmet, that non-premium units still lack sadly.
Even German General said about them this:
German General Hans-Jürgen von Arnim later said of the San Marco Marines fighting abilities in Tunisia in 1943, that they were “the best soldiers I ever commanded”.

Italy is like my favorite WW2 nations, even when most people dont think they did anything. 
And it looks like Italian will get theyr own backpacks, because those on picture are different ones from Germans backpacks. Soo more diversity is always welcomed.

I know they had some great troops and they Armored divisions were great, if they had better tanks they could easily match German ones tbh. And i have respect for them that they knew theyr tanks were not best, but they still fought in them.
Now i only need Italian Ariborne unit in Tunisia and i will be happy. It would be “only” Nembo unit, not Folgore but still i would love to see them.
And yes, unique soldier is there, like all unique Italian soldiers.
They could at least give them medals on uniforms or something soo they would be really unique.
the biggest tank problem was in my opinion they build tanks for italy. works great in hills ect but open fields not so much ^^ small tanks and hill good Ferdinand and Italy yes stupid
Yeah, they were supposed to fight in mountains in North Italy, but they fighted in North Africa instead.
btw do you buy the Marco Regiment? dont really now if i would play them longer than 3 deaths ^^
they still could use lewis with the 97 round mags
I mostly likely will buy them, i enjoy Lebel squad in Berlin and i think i will enjoy this one too tbh.
