1): Often yes, but it doesnt bother me. Just makes me feel like a field officer of some sort, trying to direct a bunch of greenbacks who just arrived on the field.
2): This is definitely tricky. I have talked and helped players who have asked in chat on how to build rallies and how engineers work, but they seem to always have a hard time getting their head around it. Maybe the engineer tutorial should explain how and why you want to assign engineers to a squad?
3): The main thing that bothers me is the lack of rallies. Its so surprising how few people place them when they are so important and honestly easy to build. Its the only thing that drives me crazy at times.
Lack of tagging, even for tanks while I’m in the air, doesnt bother because I usually can coordinate where they are via the map and their tank shots compared to the objective.
I actually enjoy solo capping, because fighting off hordes of defenders solo successfully is where I get most of my excitement in this game, along with flying. Solo defending is just AIDs though when the entire enemy force is against you while your team does whatever else, but at least I generally get good XP for it so I dont complain too much.
4): If I have given up on a match, I generally just stay in the air as a fighter, and try to practice strafe routes vs infantry. Which is actually netting me some good kills these days.
There should be a a sticky forum post, so we can all post tips, but honestly sometimes, I like to just have fun, I don’t always want to push points, I would prefer to fly or tank, but on the whole I always place initial rally in all games, because if I don’t I see our team loses, mind you I’m on the tough side (Moscow Axis)
1 - When I play solo : 95% of the time
2 - Idk I’m not their mum/dad
3 - Ususally after 2 matches
4 - It is, but I’d rather alt tab and listen to an Avril Lavigne playlist.
_9 of 10 games
_putting better tutorials and having the game give you tips during battles
_it’s a classic, I’m always the one who builds the brand meeting point and has to go and destroy the typical tank located in the other corner of the literal map, it’s already become a habit, I also carry a phrase with me that I always remember, "if not You do it, who else is going to do it?
_really sometimes I just think why am I putting up with this, but then I remember that I came from dota 2 and I forget
_what methods do I use to win, well… normally I choose the radio operator squad, I bombard the target area and at the same moment I enter to kill all its defenders taking advantage of the fact that they are stunned, in case I realize that they are arriving too fast, I go out and look for the enemy meeting point, destroy it and return attacking from the rear, (by the way, the most common thing is that at that moment my companions are located in a house with their sniper rifle killing only 2 people).
New player don’t go to the forum but to only report one bug, or one problem with gold/premium.
That’s not wierd:
Most streames are very good because they play the game a lot.
When you spend hour looking at a forum, you spend hours playing the game.
Both are exemple of dedication, that is directly link with the experience of the player.
They definitely aren’t. However most here can press “2” and make a rally point and know what direction the enemy is. Thats at least a 90% improvement over most of the player base
I am mediocre at shooters, but thankfully here the sheer amount of quadrupeds among other players is often enough to push me into the top half of the scoreboard, so I can pretend I’m good.
Lol this so much.
Carrying on attacking side is fun, getting through enemy lines, setting up rally for team, and pushing objective, then defending it for 20 seconds, reapeat 5 times and You win, nice.
Carrying on defense is suicide zerg rushing enemy spawns, if You sit on objective, even if You hold it solo for 5min, when You die they start capping, and teammates will just stand around point shooting planes out of the sky.
Sometimes i ask teammates to build rally points, they often listen only when i destroy mine or put it in weird spot. Most people don’t care enaugh, but i’ve meet few that did. One even appriciated some tips, so imma keep trying to help anyone willing to learn.
it’s a lost cause, my friend. Most people turn their brains to “off” when they want to relax and play casually.
I have no remorse deserting when am with a camper team.
I sometimes have brain farts and grand theft auto with the school bus in Tunisia, in the middle of matchs.
I’ve brought 2 friends in the game very recently, and to relax, we play stress free custom matchs. Sometimes other people join, so I say to myself “oh ok I’ll bring my A game to help my pals” but… people playing custom have either even LOWER IQ than regular matchs / just want to relax like we do. Those are so terrible I can’t even differentiate them from bots.
So in the end, I simply believe a great majority of people… Just want to relax. Maybe we, the forum regulars, are those in the wrong being too intense? I don’t know anymore
The vast majority of people in any game community are utter trash at the game. The bell curve of every playerbase has the majority sit solidly in the middle, and the middle-tier players are just that, average. To quote Carlin, think about how dumb the average person is, half of people are stupider than that. Now bring in the fact that gamers tend to be younger, generally more kids than adults, and that’s why you see most people in games being completely fucking braindead. Statistically speaking, the average player of any game you play online will be trash.
It’s only an issue for me if the teams are not balanced. When the other side averages 10 kills per player and your side averages 4 kills per player, you know you’re in for an annoying game.
->Yes, me and the crew are ALWAYS carrying the team
->Honestly dont think thats possible at this point.
->Nearly every match
->Chimping out in voice channels.
Not always, especially since my playstyle usually stands and falls with potential of my team. However, these situations are also happening way more than I would like, but if there is at least some potential, one smart rally placement can still turn the tide.
I´m trying to offer tips during the game if I see that people dont know what to do, such as "you are supposed to defend the point by standing on it/somebody take out beeping rally/we need engineer to build rally to win. These kind of things to make them realize what to do.
Not too often.
I refuse to play and in order to not get kicked just wait in the squad selection until I calm down a bit or just stop playing seriously (aka messing around a bit, killing few soldiers on flanks etc. but not really trying to do anything anymore)
