Ther guns been screwd up for to long hell I love when my JU188 shots a plan down a fighter been trying to kill and 2 rounds I blow um up. FW seems ok if ya want to use that but they bounce around a bit.
As I said dont bother with 109s. if ya can dog fight use JU188. The 20mm kills enemys in 1 second or less and thats no joke. some times as many as 3 hits will do a enemy in. Funnest thing even a FG42 sniper or MG42 even the SMGs can down a plan faster then a 109 thats how BS they are
For infantry:
I recommend sticking to Assaulter squads, FNAB and mp40 are your best choice atm
if you wish to change it up, MG squads, MG34 should be alright
For vehicles:
Use the Ju-188, 6x 250kg will wipe them beaches and maps clean off any armor and infantry
I ain’t touching any other german tank below the Panther if I can get an instant armor killer, Ju-188 should perform similarly to a Pe-3
Now if you managed to level up
you may try Infantry squads or Engi squads, all equipped with FG 42, the recoil is similar to the AVS so you should be fine
like i said ju188 is broken. bots have too good aimbot. if you fly even close to ju188 you are dead.
also 109s and 110s are perfectly usable. considering that i mostly fly with allies lately, 109s and 110s have no problem killing my p38 or p47. if you are f2p player, taking ju188 or tank is much better solution, but if you are premium and/or have vehicle slots then having 109, fw or 110 is perfectly fine. you not being able to use them doesnt mean that they are not good.
In my experience on grinding Axis Normandy, I ended up skipping the Berettas where 1 assaulter squad had MP35s and the other being MP40s until they were all replaced by MP43s then STGs supported by an Engy squad with Gewehr 43s then replaced by FG42s and an MG squad with MG34 then MG42.
I also perform worse on Normandy with Germans than I do on… Probably any other campaign. One thing that does help a lot is spawn points, if you build a good one and your team uses it, it’s a lot of stacking xp while you do other stuff. I also find full engineer squads work well, some of the maps lend themselves well to flak and AT cannons, and they feel nicer to use after the build speed increase.
I have isues with 109s unloadin every thing I got. Only JU188 seems good. I love the 3 burst poff poff and plans dead. Why I dont get why all 20mms just dont do crap… Its not that the Gunners are good but how good the guns acualy work right…
of course ju188 is good when you have bots aimboting other planes. you need to learn how to manually hit planes and not just blame planes for your poor performance.
Its not how bad the plan it self is its the dam guns on them. Hell Id rather trun off the 20mm on BF110 and use only the 37mm As I been saying and been proven time and time agin the only good guns are on JU188. They work good if not better then the flack gun at times lol. I even take kills from 109s and FW even waching them unload all they got while I creap up and pow pow BOOM! basterds dead.
Ya know whats funny I bet a Pistol could kill a plan faster then the 109s anf FW lol. I know the FMG sniper rifle does hahahaha
